Cryptocurrencies do not exist thanks to governments, but in spite of governments
Have you ever wondered why so many governments seem to fear cryptocurrencies? On the subject of cryptocurrencies, it is quite obvious to any attentive person that the governments of the world pay more attention to the matter every day.
Positive Attention and Negative Attention on the crypto topic
It is then that every day we have news of governments trying to make way for cryptocurrencies in a framework that allows them to function, and this is interpreted by many as positive attention in such sense. While there are also many governments that do not even make the attempt to understand what cryptos consist of, but just want to totally veto them.
But both in the case of those who want to regulate them and in the case of those who want to veto them, the attention is negative, since those who try to regulate them only pretend to be opening the doors to cryptocurrencies so that they work better. They say they want to regulate crypto in a safe framework and without problems, but in reality what they want is to exercise greater control on people who use crypto in order to be able putting taxes over them due it; In addition, they want to control who does what and when with their money.
Is it not supposed that one of the greatest attractions of cryptocurrencies was precisely the issue of anonymity? Well, the way things are currently going, if they have success, in a few years anonymity in the crypto field will be little more than a sad memory, something that was and not anymore will be; Because governments are doing everything they can to get DeFi app sites and crypto exchanges to run KYC processes that have no other purpose than to meddle with each other's finances.
But I sincerely think they will no have success.
A threat to the financial, economic and social status quo
Regarding the case of governments that want to veto cryptocurrencies, it is because they see in them a threat to the current status quo, they do not want anything that competes with conventional money and they perceive the enormous difficulties that exist regarding the issue of control in the crypto field. In somehow they realized that the decentralized nature of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies works against them.
But in that understanding of those circumstances, they fall into the error of wanting to veto something that they cannot control at the root, because it is not in their hands, not their decision, but of all of us who decide to use cryptocurrencies. So, although they understand that they cannot to control it, they fall into the error of thinking that they can effectively prohibit them through laws...
Well, they can, but only in paper, due they will never achieve with any law no matter how hard they try , that people stop using cryptocurrencies and being interested in cryptocurrencies; Nor will they prevent developers of crypto applications and solutions from creating new alternatives for growth, investment and expansion every day.
On the other hand, the governments that have taken on the task of regulating cryptocurrencies, believing that in this way they will be able to limit their expansion, have also made a supreme mistake. Let me put it on this way: Although they have also realized that cryptocurrencies are an imminent reality, and they know perfectly well that by working on a decentralized technology that evolves more and more every day, then they cannot prevent its operation no matter what; the mistake they make is that of wanting to get a slice of it, as if it were conventional money, but they have not realized that cryptocurrencies are a change from the established, and that their control and growth does not exist thanks to them, but in spite of them.
And in view of this is where we arrive at the confirmation of the title of this post:
Cryptocurrencies do not exist thanks to governments, but in spite of them
Let's repeat it again for those who do not understand ... Cryptocurrencies do not exist thanks to governments, but in spite of them.
What does this mean? It means that governments have no power to allow or prohibit cryptocurrencies, because cryptocurrencies exist despite governments, cryptocurrencies do not depend of governments, so cryptocurrencies cannot be controlled by them no matter how much they want to. Cryptocurrencies were created (and are created) by individuals who, understanding the perverse nature of fiat money, the traditional banking system and conventional finance, decided to create an alternative for the success-minded common man to effectively progress financially speaking.
Cryptocurrencies are not a problem
So the governments that want to regulate cryptocurrencies in order to get hold of the income that would be generated by taxes for their use, claim that they want to do so to protect the population against scams, which is totally false, because although it is true that there are hundreds of crypto scams out there, they are only a tiny proportion compared to the number of scams that exist in the field of fiat money. So, if they have not been able to eliminate fiat money scams despite being them, the governments, the ones that print it, how are they going to be able to eliminate them from a system that they are not even capable of understanding.
Then they also allege that cryptocurrencies, due to their anonymous nature, are being used by terrorist groups and people who seek to launder money, ignoring the fact that even if it were, fiat money is what is mostly used for such purposes.
Governments claim to want to control cryptocurrencies to protect citizens, but Oh Surprise !! as always, they do not really try to protect the citizen, but to control him, and put more taxes on him, and diminish his possibilities of expansion and personal growth.
We have to make governments understand the world is not fool, that they does not cheat to anybody, we must make them see that we fully understand that cryptocurrencies are not the problem, but the solution to problems. We need make them understand that we perfectly know that theyself are a big part of problem.
Because the real problem here is governments wanting to get into everything that decent citizens do to get ahead. The real problem is governments generating more and more fiat money day after day without worrying about the consequences that this generates on the purchasing power of citizens. The real problem is the unconscious governments, who only care about politics, and also the rulers who only want to remain in power at all costs, and who, with control of cryptocurrencies, want to increase the financial means to achieve such a task.
So when we find people speaking out against cryptocurrencies and in favor of government control, let's repeat this phrase as if it were a mantra: Cryptocurrencies are not the problem, they are the solution to the problem. Cryptocurrencies do not exist thanks to governments, but in spite of governments.

Sono pienamente d'accordo con quello che hai scritto.

That is true we are not asking their permission, or we should not be.
That is one of the issues I see. We are trying to align with governments instead of simply just developing the peer-to-peer technology.

Right, that's exactly the point on all of this topic. We, the crypto users, don't need permission from anybody, much less from governments to keeping using cryptocurrencies. Thanks for reading, vote and comment!
