I've recently been nearly smitten with Elon Musk and his Twitter antics. I have followed the process from his initial intention to take over Twitter, to the cancellation, and re-initiation of the transaction. Here's the latest, now that the deal has been finalized.

As you already know, Elon Musk is officially in charge of Twitter, and already there have been several changes; beginning with the termination of a large number of Twitter executives, followed by an $8 monthly subscription for those with blue ticks. I bet no one saw that coming.

After firing most execs, Musk announced on his Twitter account a monthly subscription that will allow blue-tick certification, which will be different from the current system of “lords and peasants.” The initial speculations suggested it will cost $20 monthly, but he said it will be $8.
His idea now will work hand in hand with Twitter Blue – an already existing subscription for “more comfortable reading mode and editing tools” worth $5 per month.

Elon's Twitter takeover and payment implementation has increased the likelihood that the billionaire may use Dogecoin for Twitter-related payments. If this happens, I expect the token's price to skyrocket.

In fact, some Twitter users specifically questioned him about his plans for the platform with respect to Dogecoin. But, as expected, the ever-unpredictable and dramatic Elon has not spoken directly about the issue. Instead, he continues to surprise us. However, there have been speculations that his other businesses have accepted to use the token.

Although we do not know what the plan for the coin is yet, we do know that the CEO has promised to bring an end to the incessant bots and fake accounts that seem to have taken over the platform.

'Freedom of Expression' is another new development. According to the billionaire, you may now air your opinions without fear of losing your account. Even the ban on Donald Trump’s account has been lifted!

Whether Elon Musk chooses to utilize Dogecoin for Twitter payments or not, he has always had a good impact on the coin, and I am convinced that its value will rise. It has, in fact, happened.
