Random sketch

Hello everyone, how do you do? Hope you're channeling your energy into creating?
I have a random sketch here to show you, i hope you find it worth the time

This is a sketch of a boy jumping down a tall building, his dreads are really long with cowries in it, he's got a custom jacket on with hoodie and a ripped jeans.

The base form

I started the sketch with a match stick figure to being out yhe base posture of the character

Line art

Line art is how you start fleahing out theform of your characters and plan their true appearance

Detailing

This stage is where all the distinctive details are brought to light and the character recieves more solidity.

These are the 3 basic stages i use to create characters on paper.
