Parental Control on Contents for Their Children

We are in a world of rapid technological advancements, information is passed in the fastest way possible nowadays.
Thank God to the power of internet. Smartphones, computers, tabs and many other internet enabled devices makes getting of Information very easy.
People of different ages and region around the world, can cheaply access information. This in turn makes learning very flexible, easy and fast.
We now have social medias like Facebook, Twitter, linkedin, YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok, and many others that allows sharing of contents, connects people and makes people build relationship all around the world.
The same with our mass media, we Have the Television, radio and other means of passing information easy to access around.
But there is a very big problem with all these. Most of this Media have no censorship whatsoever considering a lot of factors like Child Age, Adult content awareness, violence, slangs, sex or measures that regulate some certain people to view or access such files.
Take for example a child using YouTube, Facebook or X formerly known as Twitter can easily view some adult contents, this can in results affects the child negatively.
This is why Parents need to censor or limit what their child view on the Media or any other social media platform.
We As parents, we have the responsibility for guiding and protecting our children.
We are their Role models, these kids look out every move and they learn from us, we are to mold them into the kind of person they will be when they grow up.
The Parents must take a stronger role in taking charge of what we want the society to inject in our children’s minds, be it when they are with us at home watching TV, or using the computers and any other devices that gives them easy access to information, this is why we need to censor them.
This is where censorship get very important,By censoring what they see and hear, we are therefore protecting and guiding them against crime,nudity pornography, violence and many other inappropriate contents.
When you censored what your child watch, read, hear or see, They are less exposed to feelings of hate, envy and other form of negativity.
Let's come to the Questions we have for today's prompt.
Who really has Control for censoring the children?
My Answer is The parents, Guardian, Teachers and Government.
These set of people have a very important role in Censorship.
The Parent is the Most important people in a child life, and they are in the best position to limit and control what the society ingest into the minds of this young people.
Followed by the Teachers, the teachers should be able to inculcate good Morals to the child and also guide the child against what is inappropriate to view.
The contents creators are just creating their contents rated for different audiences so we might nothing much on them as far as they follow the rules of the platforms they post their contents.
The Parents are in the Best position to Use the appropriate Censorship methods to restrict their children from particular contents.
These days there are many Software to censor your child whenever they surf the internet.

This days Google has made it a way that can set age limits on your child tab so that he sir she won't be able to access contents that is not of their ages .
