Many people enter a state of mental breakdown and also physical breakdown because they lack the understanding of how their health should be taken care of.
Whenever people from my country hear about health, they only think of one thing: Which is their physical well-being, they all feel that whenever you are living without sickness and diseases then your health is Good to go, but the truth is that Healthy Living goes way beyond the physical Health.
Here let me enlighten you on all the types of Health:
There are different types of Health but Most importantly I will talk about 3.
(1). Physical Health: this can be Refers to the overall or total well-being of the body, which includes the proper functioning of organs, systems, and physical structures altogether.
(2) Mental Health
This is the type of health which consists of emotional (all the emotions:love, hate, sadness, happiness,anger), psychological (ability to think well, learn well and solve problems), and social well-being(interaction and relationship with people).
This are what make up our Mental Health, whenever any one is lacking out of the above then the mental wellness is dysfunctional.
(3) Spiritual Health
This is the type of health that deals with the ability of a person to find purpose, meaning and also connection with something greater or bigger than one self. It basically based on Faith, belief and Values.

In Nigeria Here most of the time people only prioritize the physical Health without paying much attention to their mental health, which in turn have adverse effects on them, some people go into depression, Madness, stressed out state and a lot of life threatening problems.
A good mental can keep you emotionally Stable, physically healthy, enhance good quality of life and boost your overall productivity and performance.
That being said here is how I maintain a good Mental Health.

My Hobbies
Yep I just do what I love doing the most.One of my favourite hobby is singing, any time I start singing or i listen to my favourite music, I get very refreshed and rejuvenated.
It works like Magic, this is one of the most effective means of maintaining a good mental health.
I also connect with friends and family,
Although many people might raise an eyebrow, but this always work for me, I just connect and relate with my friend, whenever we have a good time or we hangout, that moment is spent together is always refreshing. People are like a support system, sometime all you need is to reach out to people, and then depression will leave you.
I have seen many people that looks very healthy outside but deep inside them they are carrying a big burden, that have broke them down emotionally, until they reach our to me, and I had a word of comfort and support with them, that was when I know, people can look very healthy physically but deep down they are very sick and needs help.
Another way I Maintain my Mental Health is Rest and Relaxation.
Body no Be Firewood: Try to rest and enjoy free time.
sometimes watching Movies and Reading Books can help some people maintain good Mental Health.
Just today I decided not to go for work, not because I am lazy or have a lot of cash to spend, but I just wanted to take this time out to rest my brain.
These are just some of the ways I get my Mental Health Intact.
