Fascinating!
It's a low-impact planetary defense method, but highly depends on if the asteroid is detected in time to gradually steer it away using photon pressure. And wrapping it in the first place is another concern.
And yup, the reusable rocket concept finally works. SpaceX be doing a lot these days.
