Unexpected Friday Ride Around The Market

My lady boss told me before I sleep Thursday night that they want meat and spinach for their lunch. During Friday, all the children and grandchildren of our boss are expected to come, sleep here and go home during Saturday. The house of my boss is spacious enough for the grandchildren to play whatever they want.

She gave me the money and I just waited the sunrise so I could go walking. The butcher house is just near to us. 8 am I went out from home. So bad, there was no meat,sold out earlier before I came. I walked to find way for the vegetable.Then, I saw the bus so I ride and ask the driver if they would pass the market. Fortunately,the market is among the bus stop location. I am happy knowing it. It is easy to go to the market alone. Good things that I have money in my ATM card. The driver do not accept cash for payment.

This is the public transportation I enjoyed riding going to the market yesterday.

This is the new public market . Here we can buy vegetable,meat from chicken, cow,goat and sheep. There is also a wholesale and fishes retailer. The building is divided into different sections and category for retail and wholesale.

He is the friend of my boss since I was new here and was selling meat even before during the old market near our old house. He was wondering that I am still here. It had been a long time that I went to the market alone.

I got a chance buying fresh fishes. It was out of the plan. I miss eating fish matambaka.

After finish buying vegetables, ( I ran out ofy gallery, I didn't able to tame picture the vegetable section.) I leave the market and I waited the bus in the bus stop near the market.

I saw a donkey with a cart. I want to ride but I don't know how. The old man owner of the donkey jokingly told pay him while taking a picture.

The bus came,the same bus that I ride going to the market. There are two bus roaming around the same route every 15 minutes. It's so nice like riding an airplane or train.

The same bus and the driver was a young man from Sudan. I talked to him since we were just two in the bus. He is like my child in her age. He taught I am Indonesia. We talked Indonesian language. He drove slowly the place where there were a lot of camel so I took a picture. The bus is being monitored with cctv and bring controlled trip. It stopped only in a bus stop. Every stop , there is a recorded prompt telling the place where we are in a certain location.

What a beautiful market experienced yesterday. I was an alone passenger going to the market and riding the same bus going home. I felt like a queen traveling around the city just for a pleasure trip.

A happy market day October 4, 2024.

When I arrived home, I cooked th meat. I am so happy that they loved and finished all what I cooked for lunch. I also told my lady boss about my trip with the bus public transportation. They laughed at me. They are not riding like what I did. I told them that next time , I want to go to the sea alone because the driver told me that there is also a bus traveling to the main city every 15 minutes.

Ooops! I almost forget to share with you the camel.
