MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY TWELVE (12). 29TH, MARCH 2022

Thanks be to God for his words that we have heard today, also thanking him for his promises to give us a new heart. He is awesome.

In our today's teaching, we were meant to understand that we have an obligation to seek God. It is in the nature of man to seek of the things on earth butColossians 3:2 says We should seek of the things above not on the things in the world. When we seek God, then shall we found him. He is always close to them that seek him and far to them that seek him not.

WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE WE
According to Matthew 23:3_8, we have four kinds of hearts of people.

• Seeds that fell on the way side and the birds of the earth eats them up.
• Some fell on the Stony side and could not penetrate
• Some fell among thorns and were chocked
• Others fell on the good and honest ground and bear fruits

Meaning of the parable
Luke 8:11. I learnt that the seed is the word of God and the way side is the hearts of men.

• Those that fell on the way side are they that heard but the devil came and took it away from their hearts so that they won't believe and be saved. This is why the bible says, We should be vigilant and alert for the devil is roaming around looking for who to devour.

• Those that fell on the Stony area. They are people that hear but the word did not penetrate in them. Trials and temptations came and took it away from their hearts.

• Those that fell among thorns. They are the ones that hear but the ambitious, cares and vices of this world could not allow them to bear fruits. This heart has many vices and ambition.

• The good and honest ground. They are the ones that hear, keep it, and it bear fruits in them.

The good news is that God has promised to give us a new heart no matter what kind of heart we have. Ezekiel 36:26 says that God will make people of God, even those with an evil hearts. This is why he promise to replace our hearts and take away the Stony heart. Our God wants all men to be saved.

In conclusion, the four kinds of people, are

• A man whose heart is the way side
• A man with the Stony heart
• A man with a thorny heart and
• A good and honest ground heart
