MASS INDOCTRINATION SESSION DAY ONE (1).

Thanks be to God for another wonderful day in his presence.

Acts 28:19_20, I learnt that the first doctrine of our lord Jesus Christ is the doctrine of Baptism. Jesus commanded his disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. They should baptize them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit. He also commanded them to observe all his commandment. 1 Corinthians 14:37, saint Paul made it clear that all he has written are the commanded of the lord. This means that we should obey the laws of God in terms of baptism. Another proof that baptism is the first doctrine, **Acts 22:16. It was said to Paul arise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on the name of Jesus.

1 Corinthians 1:1_2, After Paul was baptized, he was called to be an apostle of Christ in the church of God which is in Corinth. This shows that Paul was a member of the church of God. God made him a preacher in the church of God. Baptism is the first doctrine but before one proceed to be baptized, the fellow need to accept the word of God. Acts 2:47, those who received the word were added daily. The formal Way of joining the church of God is by receiving baptism. You hear the word and receive the word also.

We were taught that joining the church of God is very important. The bible says that God builds the church. Joining the church is a reason why the church was built. Ephesians 3:6, We were taught that the gentiles are fellow heirs of the same body. The body is the church of God. Christ is the head of that body. So joining the church is the will of God.John 12:48, Our lord Jesus said that who ever reject him and his words, will be judged by the word he speak. Therefore, receiving Christ is receiving his words. Ephesians 5:23, Christ is the head of the church. The church is the spiritual body of Christ. The church is very important that is why our lord Jesus Christ purchased it with his blood and he loves the church. Ephesians 3:10, the church will fulfill an eternal purpose.

In conclusion, we should be careful of the teachings we hear from other places. That is why the bible say that we should compare them and see which is truth.Ecclesiastes 7:27. We should also know that everything that belongs to God is called by his name. "The church of God".
