Day and night near Eye of Budapest... #TheLongestTrip
Returning to the beginning of our journey #TheLongestTrip, I invite you once again to take a stroll through the central square of the majestic city of Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
We have been there several times. The last time we visited the square before leaving for Turkey. There are many sculptures in Budapest that attract the eye with their unique meaning. Like, for example, this shepherd who plays the flute for the sheep.
We first came here after seeing a giant observation circle called the Eye of Budapest. I have never seen such a great viewing circle before. First, we walked through the square, which has an interesting history. It was a beautiful sunny day. We took photos of the Ferris wheel from different angles.
The observation circle "Budapest Eye" is located on the Elizabeth Square in the center of Budapest, named after the empress, the wife of Franz Joseph. It is always crowded, there is an active trade in souvenirs. Young people like to spend time in this square.
In the middle of the square there is a fountain called Danube (Danubius), designed by the architect Miklos Ible.
This fountain is truly a work of art. It is interesting to walk around and look at the details. Women have beautiful strong figures. Their naked bodies capture us with their perfection and beauty. They are holding nets filled with fish. People's creativity lives on, giving pleasure to tourists.
Later, at sunset, the sky began to cover itself with purple clouds. The Ferris wheel continued its excursion route. And we decided to buy a ticket for this sightseeing tour.
At night, the Eye of Budapest glows beautifully with white light and looks wonderfull and grand.
Incredibly fascinating views of Budapest at night opened before us. This walk will forever remain in our soul as a memory of the great capital of Hungary.
My daughters @bugavi and @darine.darine and I left our native Ukraine on March 1, 2022. We have been on our #TheLongestTrip for 1.5 years now

I can call that Budapest is one of the cities I visited fortunately. I think it deserve to be visited once more ;)
I think that I would visit it a third time and there are many interesting places that I did not have time to see :)

That fountain seems historical and magical. I appreciate how the artist crafted those statues and every single detail carved on it. I think it's inspired by the Greek mythology.
I googled for more information but I couldn't find it. Therefore, we can give free rein to our imagination :)
Maybe it's one of the masterpieces of the place, well those sculptures are similar to those in Italy and Greece.
Awesome sculptures...and the big wheel ☺️
I myself like this round swing very much. This place is very beautiful as we see that the artists who are there have worked very hard to create beautiful sculptures that take a lot of time and effort to make them.
@olga.maslievich thank you for allowing to get to know Hungary through your photos and your posts. To hug

I love how the sculptor created the details of each sculpture. He/she must be wise and smart. That place is impressive. ❤️
I was not even aware that Budapest is the capital city of Hungary. It is informative. Along with it, these sculptures are finely carved and attracting the eyes. It would really be treat to eyes. Night time is also really beautiful there.
