My hive journey and how far I have come

I welcome you to my blog. When I first joined the hive platform, it wasn't easy for me; every newbie had a bad start on the platform. From not getting any support at all, no curation, and no comments to either giving up or staying consistent until you stand your ground, many newbies will opt in for option A, which is giving up and is quite easy to do.

As a newbie, I gave up on Hive countless times, but I kept coming back because I felt the need to be on the platform. But without the support and encouragement, I felt really discouraged until I was introduced to the newbies initiative, and in one of the tasks, we were asked to put down our goals and work towards achieving them. So far, so good. I have been able to achieve a few of my goals, which has helped put a smile on my face and is giving me the courage I need to keep going.

Nothing gives one the morale to keep going, like when they see positive results. It is not easy to achieve goals, but if you put in the work, no goal is unachievable. All you need to do is put in the work needed to achieve whatever goal you are aiming for. Many people fail to see how much progress they have made because they fail to celebrate their small wins, no matter how small a win is celebrate it.

I started the year with about 500 hive power, and I set a goal to make it to 1000 hive power before the end of the year. It's still the eleventh month of the year, and I already achieved this goal. A few power ups, consistent posting, and a shout-out to communities like Hive Learners, Hiveghana, Hivenaija, and indiaunited that contributed immensely to this growth. Your prompts and support brought me this far, and I am grateful.

I also had in mind to achieve a hundred followers before the end of the year, but this one is still in progress but close to my aim. I started the year with 67 followers, but currently I have 92 followers, which is close to my goal for the year. Before the year ends, I hope to achieve it.

I started the year with a reputation of 64 and was aiming for a reputation of 68 before the year ended; it was achieved even before the year came to an end. Consistency with the hive platform is the only way you can grow on the platform.
