I welcome you to my blog. Many people only maintain their physical health, forgetting to check on their mental health. With the current situation in the country, we all need to take our mental health very seriously. Some people go for medical checkups twice in three months, but never have they bothered to check what's going on there despite the stress they are passing through.

Many individuals hit the gym daily to maintain physical health but do nothing to maintain a sound mind and good mental health. The importance of our mental health cannot be overemphasized; without good mental health, we cannot go about carrying out our daily activities. Everything will have to be put on hold the moment our mental health fails us, which is why we have to take it more seriously.
We all have different things we engage in to help us stay fit. I never cared about mental health as well until sometime back when I got to read a book from a particular author that specializes in writing books that can help our mental health. Since then, I have taken my mental health seriously.
Regular exercise: I used to play football and jog daily before school, but currently school won't let me do both, so I do more jogging daily before I go for classes. If I wake up late and won't be able to meet up, I just run up and down the stairs before I start my day. This has played a vital role in keeping me fit.
Food: They say we are what we eat, and I strongly support that saying. If you eat well, your body will respond to it. Our well-being also depends on what we eat and drink, which is why we are advised to always eat healthy.
Sleep: I hated naps while growing up, but this changed after I found out how they help my brain relax, and I feel my energy rejuvenated after every nap or after sleeping. We hustle and bustle daily, and the head is at work each time we do that. A little rest helps keep it sound, so it keeps serving us.
Reading and music: What we feed the mind is what helps it stay sane; the only way we can feed the mind is through what we listen to and read. Music helps to cool off, and reading does its magic.
