DIY// My Blue Neck Choker, for Church Service Today💙

avatar

Hello Creative Hivers, welcome to my Blog. Happy Sunday 💃 It's a next week and I'm super excited. Last week was quite stressful but today I have been free from activities after service...So "DIY"all the way. Bead making is something I do with joy💃. I might not really know what to create but as soon as I open my beads box, ideas Began to fall in.

Before now, I love making bead but always have a problem of putting it on... it's either I advertise it in my shop, or my consumers do that for me when they theirs. Not because I don't like beads but each time I put it on, I feel discomfort it doesn't matter where it is been placed. Let me tell us a story about my first experience with neck choker😂

I was glancing through my phone, on a Friday evening and I saw this beautiful neck choker online. I saved it on my phone...and decided to make one for myself, since I have an experience on bead making.
My first attempt on neck choker, came out neat and beautiful. When I put it with my red dress, and looked at the mirror, it was looking extremely beautiful. But it never lasted for the next five minutes... despite it was an elastic fish line. I felt it was really choking my neck. But i continued despite that, and today am a pro in wearing neck chokers.
Today, i made a royal blue neck choker, on my blue Dress💙

Materials

  • Royal blue sand beads
  • Royal blue Crystal beads
  • Elastic Fish line
  • Earring hook
  • Stopper

Procedures

  • I Cut my fish line to my desired length
  • Put eight royal blue sand beads
  • I crossed the fish line into the blue crystal bead
  • I put four sand beads by the left and four by the right
  • Then crossed the fish line into the blue Crystal bead
  • I put four sand beads by the left and four by the right
  • Then crossed the fish line into the blue Crystal bead
  • I continued till i got my desired length
  • At the left hand side of the neck choker, i fixed the earring hook, used stopper to merge it
  • At the right hand side of the neck choker, i fixed the other hook...just as you saw it pictorically.

Thanks for your time on my Blog😘
