Today, Elon had some second thoughts and pulled back after telling all of MAGA they are lazy, racist, and stupid. His torch bearers are asking everyone to make peace. Tesla is the biggest abuser of the H1B visa program. There is a cap of 85 thousand visas a year, while more than 800 thousand are given. We have reason to believe that a prominent whale may be behind it all. This individual seems to think that they own Hive, and they're using their power to manipulate and control the platform. We've spoken to many people who are aware of the truth, and we're confident that the world will soon see things as they truly are.
The problem is that this whale is using their power to downvote good content, self-vote their own posts, and even power down their tokens. They're treating Hive like a bank, and it's having a devastating impact on our community. We've said it before, but it bears repeating: how can we have a whale downvoting good content, speaking to people in a derogatory manner, and yet still expect to be part of our community? This individual needs help, and they should not be a part of Hive.
Furthermore, we believe that Blocktrades needs to take action to remove their Hive power delegation from Buildawhale and Usainvote. These two accounts have been downvoting good content, driving users away from the platform and creating a toxic environment. We've seen firsthand the damage it can cause, and people are leaving Hive.
So what's the solution? One possible approach is to require users to comment on a post before downvoting it. This way, at least people would know why they're being downvoted, and it would give us a better understanding of the motivations behind these actions. Of course, this is just one potential solution, and we're open to exploring other ideas and finding a way to address this issue.
