That Leather Effect

Hello Everyone! It had been quite awhile since my last post. To catch up with you guys, all I had been doing was just work, work, work. It does not help that alongside that, I still need to do my studies and well, I had been experimenting a lot with clay- and my new tools.

One of the things that I missed earlier were using some roller effects on my work. So here is one created using the leather roller.

I started by rolling out a normal piece of clay.

Then I used my roller( the blue roller) to create this effect.

I know. The first time around I had had a look at it, I can't believe my eyes! It looked like a piece of real leather.

I used one of my new cutters on this piece.

Folded it over and started working on the face.

Pre baking looks.

And this is how it looked like after being baked- this one has no nail polish on it yet.

But if you guys are curious on how this thing looked like with nail polish/ gloss, look at the picture below.

Aw 🥰 this is stunning, both the polished and the unpolished one.

If you don't mention it is clay, one could easily believe it to be leather.
