Al observar la imagen, de inmediato, me vino a la mente la obra de un artista plástico en cuyo estilo prevalecen los colores vivos. Seguidamente, me detengo en cada detalle de la pintura y noto que hay una madre con un bebé entre sus brazos. Finalmente, al hurgar más en el cuadro, me percato de que la mujer no tiene rostro

Comenzaré por lo que representa para el ser humano, la imagen de una madre alimentando a su bebé. Es, entre todas las bendiciones, la más relevante, por todo lo que ello implica. Existe una simbiosis indestructible entre una mujer que da vida desde sus entrañas, y su hijo. Significa la máxima representación del amor. Amor incondicional, eterno, fiel y desinteresado.

Ser madre de tres hijos, me ha permitido crecer, amar, proteger y siempre apostar por verlos alcanzar sus proyectos de vida. Se trata de ejercer el rol más importante que corresponde a la mujer en esta vida.

Cuando vi lo hermoso de esa combinación de líneas y colores, sentí que veía un cuadro abstracto. Pues estos se caracterizan por sus diseños, formas y colores imposibles de apreciar, pues es diferente a los otros tipos de arte. No tienen ningún parecido con objetos físicos. El artista, que se dedica a lo abstracto, suele explicar la razón de sus pinturas, en el título de la obra. El resto lo deja para la imaginación del observador.

Por otra parte, también ese cuadro elegido por @lanzjoseg, además de espectacular por su contenido visual, trajo a mi memoria, una bella etapa de mi vida cuando era una adolescente. Estaban de moda las experiencias psicodélicas de los años 70, la ropa que se usaba en esa época era de estilo hippies. También lo veo como una inmensa manta que cubre ambos cuerpos de la intemperie.

Ahora bien, algo interesante pasó por mi cabeza al notar la ausencia de rostro en esa madre. Infiero que el artista, podría haber sufrido la condición de prosopagnosia.. Lo considero así porque en una oportunidad leí acerca de una artista que no reconocía los rostros de las personas. Y no fue hasta que cumplió 40 años que supo de su enfermedad cerebral. Dicha enfermedad terminó siendo una condición hereditaria.

Específicamente, no podía reconocer un rostro completo, ni siquiera el suyo. Ella sufrió los rigores del bullying no solo en la escuela, sino también de adulto. Era adoptada y al descubrir todo acerca de su procedencia, se sintió renacer. Esto ocurrió cuando ella regresó de su aislamiento en un barco, donde solo salía a comer y pescar, etc.

Ella misma se encargó de investigar más acerca de su condición, y de la razón por la que ni siquiera podría dibujar su propio rostro. Así que no está en capacidad de dibujar un rostro por no poder retener en su mente esas imágenes, pues es incurable, según los neurocirujanos expertos que la han tratado.
Bien, esa historia me hizo reflexionar acerca de por qué, la imagen de la mujer, no tiene rostro y pienso que el pintor pudo haberla realizado intencionalmente para dejar el resto a la imaginación del observador, o porque está padeciendo de dicha condición.

I will begin with what it represents for the human being, the image of a mother feeding her baby. It is, among all blessings, the most relevant, for all that it implies. There is an indestructible symbiosis between a woman who gives life from her womb and her child. It means the maximum representation of love. Unconditional, eternal, faithful and selfless love.

Being a mother of three children has allowed me to grow, love, protect and always bet on seeing them achieve their life projects. It is about exercising the most important role that corresponds to a woman in this life.

When I saw the beauty of this combination of lines and colors, I felt like I was looking at an abstract painting. For these are characterized by their designs, shapes and colors impossible to appreciate, because it is different from other types of art. They have no resemblance to physical objects. The artist, who is dedicated to the abstract, usually explains the reason for his paintings, in the title of the work. The rest is left to the imagination of the observer.

On the other hand, also that painting chosen by @lanzjoseg, besides spectacular for its visual content, brought to my memory, a beautiful stage of my life when I was a teenager. The psychedelic experiences of the 70's were in fashion, the clothes worn at that time were hippie style. I also see it as a huge blanket that covers both bodies from the weather.

Now, something interesting crossed my mind when I noticed the absence of a face in that mother. I infer that the artist might have suffered from prosopagnosia. . I think so because I once read about an artist who did not recognize people's faces. And it wasn't until she turned 40 that she learned of her brain disease. It ended up being an inherited condition.

Specifically, she couldn't recognize a whole face, not even her own. She suffered the rigors of bullying not only in school, but also as an adult. She was adopted and upon discovering all about where she came from, she felt reborn. This happened when she returned from her isolation on a boat, where she only went out to eat and fish, etc.

She herself took it upon herself to research more about her condition, and the reason why she could not even draw her own face. So she is unable to draw a face because she cannot retain those images in her mind, as she is incurable, according to the expert neurosurgeons who have treated her.

Well, that story made me reflect on why the image of the woman has no face and I think the painter may have done it intentionally to leave the rest to the imagination of the observer, or because she is suffering from that condition.
