Does it bother you that so much development happens off chain?
I tried the search function today, the one that sits on top of peakd, its a lot better than the last time I used it. I actually found something.
I was trying to figure out what is changing and being improved on the backend of the block chain during this bubble. Its a great time for people to take some hive and re-invest it into the platform in the way of paying developers, etc.
However, every community I jumped into has a discord. There is very little actual proposal, feature request, discussion happening on the chain itself. I'm not a discord user and don't plan to become one. It's not a secure means of communication.
If they were signal communities/groups I would be all in.
Where is the on-chain discussion?
Maybe I'm missing something, if I am, please let me know in the comments. I really don't want hive to de-volve into a platform run by a few whales. That's what got us, the community, into trouble with Steem.
