Easter Outreach with Olivet Baptist Church

Outreach!

Today, I had the opportunity to volunteer for the Easter outreach at a local trailer park called Millpond Village. The trailer park is not far from our Church, Olivet Baptist Church and it there is a lot of need for outreach there. The community is not well reached and is made up of primarily low income people. Our Pastor has been making a point of doing more community outreach in an attempt to not only grow out Church, but also to reach the community in general with the services we provide. Today, the turn-out was great and a good time was had by all. Of course I took a lot of photos and thought what better place to share them than here? I hope you enjoy seeing these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

A great day for outreach!

As you can see it was a very good day, both for us doing the outreach, and for those on the receiving end. Some of these kids did not get anything for Easter other than what we provided for them and it was really cool being able to be a part of that. It was nice being involved with this event, especially with the world the way it is today.
