# Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 8 Report Card

Another season of Splinterlands ended about a week ago. Most of my deck was rented out and still is. I felt like I was getting a bit addicted to the game and burned out from playing everyday. So I'm currently taking a break from it all.

That is the beauty of all the structure that has been built around the game. We can now take a break from playing and still earn and make progress through things like renting out our cards or staking tokens. In the old days all of your cards would just be sitting there if you ever stopped playing for a period of time.
