My entry for this week's contest highlight an assortment of foliage images taken in areas around the city where I live.
Fiery Autumn colors burst in glory in the trees that do not quite reach the height of the long, tall streetlight. To the right is Tower Grove Park.

After a scheduled doctor's appointment at Missouri Baptist Hospital I took this photo while waiting for the long red signal light to finally turn green. The warm colors of Fall foliage are what makes this my favorite time of year!
I captured the last glimpses of luscious summer floral foliage growing in containers maintained along the streets in the City of Saint Peters while I was at another red light! Notice the long shadows cast late in the afternoon.

Yes! I love autumn for just that same reason. I'm waiting one or two more weeks then am going for a good long walk through some parks to really enjoy. It's the best time of the year.
