Law of life
I got ready to leave as we could, we put my mom in the car since she could not walk and it was after midnight. The hospital where my mom is being treated is 45 minutes away from home, who respects the traffic signs during the early morning hours? On the way I met a group of bikers that I imagine were coming from a party and the way I was driving I was drunk and almost crashed into the island so I accelerated to get away from danger suddenly a car came at full speed I really did not see it coming we almost crashed he was lost on the road thank God I made it to the hospital.
They attended to my mother, thank God, the doctor on call was the same as the previous time and knew the case, they did an x-ray to see the knee to see how to put it back in place, I pulled back a little, my screams of pain caused me an emotional shock, the doctors on call could do nothing so they called the specialist while he arrived, my brother told me that now the roles had been reversed, I asked him how is that?
This reminded me of when I fractured my collarbone when I was little my mom would take me to the doctor late at night, now it's our turn to take care of mom, this left me thinking about the stages of life, one day mom takes care of you and eventually it's mom who needs care, law of life.
Life is a Boomerang what you sow you reap I have seen children that their parents are annoying them when they are older adults more if they have a disability treat our parents well is to clean the road where someday you will have to travel, this is just a small reflection I am a believer and in the bible there is a verse that talks about honoring parents to do well there does not specify whether they are good or bad who knows the kind of life that our parents led? What's the use of crying when in a grave when you have the opportunity to give them everything in life just as they need love and attention we will need it we should not judge the life of mom and dad.
