In this world everyone has the right, the right to live, the right to eat, and the right to speak.
What is meant by the right to life? One may not kill another person, and one may not commit violence against another person, it is a very despicable act.
So what about the right to eat? One also should not forbid others to eat for no reason. However, the right to eat will change its status when he eats something that can damage his body, for example, if someone eats something that can hurt him, then we can forbid it, even though it's the right of him and his body. good.
What about the right to speak?
In my view, the right to speak is in accordance with what was taught by the Prophet Muhammad: "Add the wasiyat, O Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah said: Say the truth even though the truth is bitter. (HR. Ahmad, At Tabrani, Ibn Hibban and Al Hakim). What I can understand is that we must speak something good, our words must show compassion and show a mindset for a solution.
Example of the Right to Speak: A person has a creative, innovative idea in building a new project or wants to advance his country through technology, then that is his right that must be protected and supported. And vice versa if there is someone who voices for destruction, then it is not a right that needs to be protected, it is a crime.
But the problem now is, when people talk he doesn't adjust his place and behavior. Don't teach drunk people to say that it's not okay to be drunk, because when people are drunk they don't know and don't hear what we have to say, as well as in politics.
Many disputes occur because people use their right to speak inappropriately. Then there was miscommunication. The saddest thing is that with the miscommunication, war is created, and there are casualties, there is a big war, just because they put the right to speak incorrectly.
So we as good living beings, use our right to speak in a suitable place and in a good way.
That is my view on the right to speak, all inputs and criticisms are gladly accepted.
