¡Hola amigos de hive!

Hoy les traigo unas de las comidas que más disfruto elaborar.
Y son los granos, en este caso especificamente las lentejas guisadas.

Este grano es uno de los más fáciles y rápidos de cocinar y además de poder acompañarlos casi con cualquier cosa, son deliciosas y nutritivas.

¡Empezamos!

Ingredientes:

400g de lentejas
5 hojas de culantro
1 cebolla
5 ajíes dulces
Orégano
Sal condimentada
50ml de aceite vegetal
300g de pollo
3 cucharadas de azúcar

Preparación:

Empecé lavando y enjuagando muy bien las lentejas para eliminar cualquier tipo de impurezas para después ponerlas a remojar durante 5-8h. Esto lo hago con la intención de que queden muy suaves y sea más fácil y rápida su cocción.
Personalmente las pongo a remojar en la mañana, calculando que para el mediodia este blandas y solo tenga que preocuparme por preparar el guiso.

En esta ocasión agregué pollo, pero eso queda para el gusto se cada quién, puede agregarle cualquier tipo de carne o simplemente granos sin carne.

Empecé la preparación lavando y picando cada uno de los ajíes y la cebolla.

Lavé y piqué las piezas de pollo que utilizaré para el guiso y luego sofreí.

Antes de empezar a sofreír mis vegetales, le cambié el agua con la que remojaba los granos y la puse a hervir.

Mientras estaba hirviendo las lentejas, monté a sofreír el ají y la cebolla.

Después de haber sofrito muy bien, agregué mis vegetales a las lentejas.

Luego de eso, le agregué el pollo, piqué las hojas de culantro y se las agregué, le agregué la sal condimentada, el orégano, y las cucharadas de azúcar.

Las cucharadas de azúcar son opcionales, a muchas personas no les gusta los granos dulces pero a mí y a mi familia sí.
Lo dejé hervir hasta casi quedar seco, mientras preparaba un arroz y freí unas tajadas de platano.

Ya una vez casi secas mis lentejas apagué, dejé reposar mientras culminaba con el resto de la comida y serví mi plato.
Quedó espectacular y espero que tu lo intentes.

Ingredients:

400g lentils
5 coriander leaves
1 onion
5 sweet peppers
Oregano
Seasoned salt
50ml vegetable oil
300g of chicken
3 tablespoons of sugar

Preparation

I started by washing and rinsing the lentils very well to remove any impurities and then soaking them for 5-8 hours. I do this with the intention of making them very soft and easier and faster to cook.
Personally I put them to soak in the morning, calculating that by noon they are soft and I only have to worry about preparing the stew.

This time I added chicken, but that's up to each person's taste, you can add any kind of meat or just meatless beans.

I started the preparation by washing and chopping each of the peppers and onion.

I washed and chopped the chicken pieces that I will use for the stew and then sautéed them.

Before I started sautéing my vegetables, I changed the water I soaked the beans in and brought it to a boil.

While the lentils were boiling, I sautéed the chili and onion.

After sautéing very well, I added my vegetables to the lentils.

After that, I added the chicken, chopped the coriander leaves and added them, seasoned salt, oregano, and spoonfuls of sugar.

The spoonfuls of sugar are optional, many people don't like sweet grains but I and my family do.
I let it boil until it was almost dry, while I prepared some rice and fried some slices of banana.

Once my lentils were almost dry I turned them off, let them rest while I finished the rest of the meal and served my dish.
It turned out spectacular and I hope you try it.
