Acroyoga: Bone To Bone Connection
Hi lovelies you’re welcome to this edition of my acroyoga series.
Today was all about bone to bone connection. We wanted to try new poses and dared ourselves to do the ones we haven’t done before.
In the first cover picture, I was in child’s pose and my partner was in a variation of chin stand /forearm balance
This simple acro pose required strength, balance and flexibility.
Although we didn’t really hit our target, we were glad we came close.
The second picture was more of a tripod stand. Which involves the both hands and the head on the ground at the same time. This was much harder than expected because of the obstruction of sight.
We were practically backing each other and we had to place our legs in order too, our spotter really helped us to achieve this one.
This one right here required lots of core strength and finding balance from the head all the way down to the toes.
The third pose worked out perfectly with the bone to bone connection, we had to rely on keeping our hands together, good support from the base and a little flexibility from the flyer. It was so easy to get, maybe because we already had some warm up with core and back flexibility.
One thing about acroyoga is that it takes two people or more to practice and prepare for poses. It’s important to trust, support and be comfortable with your partner.
That way it’s easier to create beautiful poses in pictures and lasting memories.
Have fun, laugh, joke around but most importantly be comfortable with your acroyoga partner.
