A Beautiful Love Story: Over The Weekend!
Over the weekend,
One of my friends from college had her wedding ceremony!
She was and still is my friend from way back college days, she was my room mate, my reading partner and she was like a sister to me!
This past weekend was so full of vibes, lots of dancing, partying and of course lots of eating because a wedding is never complete in Nigeria without food being served (Some of us are foodies in nature -Foodlums-)
I for once enjoyed myself at the wedding, because their story as a couple was beautiful and it’s one I have known for quite awhile.
For so many reasons this couple are very wonderful people from overcoming so many challenges, like loosing a loved one to one of them relocating to a new country, facing so many travel restrictions during the pandemic and being in a long distance relationship for over two (2) years!!!
The list could go on and on but this beautiful couple made their relationship work, their love is so beautiful and I just couldn’t help but celebrate with them. After the wedding reception, there was also an after-party and everyone was just dancing and celebrating with them! In fact, I had so much energy during the past weekend!
It just shows that at the end, love will always find a way and this beautiful story was about it.
You could see the joy in their faces, the way they celebrated and how family and friends friends who knew about their story celebrated them over the weekend.
This is just a reminder to anyone going through any challenge in their lives, relationship, work or anything at all! Hold on, be patient and everything will work fine at the end!
Stay strong, stay positive and let love be your motivation to do more and better….
True love always finds a way!
Absolutely my dear…
