An Explosion of Flavor Between Two Slices of Bread 😍
Hello everyone😊
I'm here as a result of Dear @wesphilbin introducing me to the Sandwich community a little while ago.
Created by Dude @mondoshawan, this community definitely looks like a lot of fun. I went in to read the sandwich posts but found myself making sandwiches. And Dude warned me that the only fear for those who are here is getting fat🙃
I guess I underestimated this warning. You are absolutely right Dude:))
Let's come to the story of my delicious sandwich,
I couldn't stay indifferent to such colorful images when I was looking at the sandwiches. I immediately opened the cupboard and took out all the ingredients that I could put in the sandwich on the table. Everything was going well until I realized that I didn't have bread to make the sandwich.
I was so angry that I had to eat this sandwich right away because I was craving it so badly.
Luckily my husband calmed me down and told me that he could go downstairs to the bakery and get some bread.
I love him so much he is my savior :))
There are so many different types of bread in the bakery, all of them very tasty and fresh for making sandwiches.
Since it wasn't a planned sandwich, I made it with ingredients I had at home and I think it turned out very well.
I normally love tuna, egg and avocado sandwiches.
When I was little, my mom would carefully prepare them for me to take to school, I grew up and continued this habit when I went to work.
Sandwiches have always graced my lunches.
When I don't feel like cooking at home, the first thing that comes to my mind is to stuff whatever I have in the house between the bread.
I remember a story about sandwiches, if my memory serves me right, in the old days when one of the leading statesmen of England was gambling, he asked his servant to put meat between two slices of bread to keep him from leaving the table, and that's how the sandwich was born.
I thought it was a strange story when I first heard it, but whoever invented it, how and why, it was a good pioneer for all of us.
If this story is true, it is actually a type of food derived for the sake of laziness, isn't it:)
My list of ingredients for a lazy sandwich is as follows:
-Crunchy bread
-A spreadable cheese for the base
-Hot red pepper puree for the top base
-Fresh greens
-Tomato
-Green Pepper
-Green olives
-White cheese
-Pickled Cucumber
-Smoked Turkey
-Ketchup and sandwich mayonnaise*
So now it's time to build the sandwiches:)
First of all, I cut the bread properly and remove the excess bread filling so that I can put more ingredients inside.
Then I spread spreadable cheese on the bottom base.
On the top base, I spread that delicious hot pepper paste that will create a flavor explosion on the palate.
Then I put the fresh lettuce leaves and parsley in the bread respectively.
I slice tomato slices, peppers and olives on top.
I also place smoked meat, pickles and feta cheese,
I put ketchup and mayonnaise sauce on top and close the lid.
It's that simple to get this delicious look.
For me, the most enjoyable part of eating a sandwich is putting it on a plate and sitting in front of the TV.
Hold the sandwich neatly with your fingers at the top and bottom,
Take a big bite and enjoy it as much as you like, without worrying about getting it all over your face.
All photos and content are my own.
The photos were taken with a Samsung A72 smartphone.
All work is mine unless otherwise stated.
Wow, what a beauty... runs off to the kitchen, again 😁
thank you:)
Now for that i would need a huge mouth... hahaha yeah, i got that actually
hahaha That's exactly what I'm talking about.🤣
Thank you:)
@nidabyzt,
Hello there! I am glad to see you decided to join in on the sandwich fun! But it was so much more than just a post about a sandwich... you shared a piece of your memories with us. You opened up, and let us glimpse into your past:
I can remember the days when my mom worked as a secretary. She always brought a little Tupperware container of tuna with her... then spread it across some bread. She also created tuna sandwiches for me, much like your memory above. So this just goes to show... even though we all may live worlds apart. We are all still connected, and how cool to think it is thanks to sandwiches! Wonderful post, my friend! I look forward to seeing perhaps, another post showcasing your sandwich-making skills!

Thank you so much Wes, experiences always keep me strong.
My next sandwich will be the one your mom likes, I'll make it for you. As I mentioned, I love tuna too.
Lastly, I'm grateful for your support.🙏
@nidabyzt,
I always remind folks of this...
This is what? A blockchain. Symbolism... think about a chain. What keeps it together? That's right... the links. So... if we keep these links in good shape (support) then the chain stays strong... right? It's simple really. I guess that's why it is so hard for some. Much like life; if we are decent, respectful, honest, and supportive. Gosh... there's really nothing we can't do!
You are very right. I am sure that everyone would be aware of this. The world would be a more livable place.
Yay! 🤗

Yum!!! Tuna, but normally I like mine with dill pickles and onion in mayonnaise on toasted bread, now that is being lazy hahahahaha!!!. That sandwich looks like sandwiches we got at Subway, they are major sellers of all of their sandwiches.
