Great stuff! It’s great when that happens, the moment you’ve got a few clips, sounds, tracks, whatever it may be going and you start to get a feel for how you could build it up more or how you could create a vast range of variations. That is a great moment.

Will be interesting to see how it all comes together.

I’m fascinated by the concept of going DAWless, I love AUM and Drambo on iOS for the open ended feature set they offer. daws feel claustrophobic.

Yea, I've been using AUM quite a bit recently with a bunch of synth/drum apps. Haven't shared/recorded any iPad jams, but I've been slowly learning how to incorporate the iPad more. There's a lot of really cool possibilities.

Honestly, I love using Ableton, but being able to just sit down at a desk, and turn on the Elektron devices (or other stuff, the Microfreak, etc.) and pop on some headphones is great. They're limited in their own ways, but in totally different ways from a DAW, so I feel like you can get really creative that way, as everything feels kind of novel.
