Follow Friday - the tricky second post!

The misty meadow

Hope you’ve all had a great week, I’m running late with this one, it’s almost a “Follow Saturday”!! Hence I’ve entitled this one, “The tricky second post” in this series.

I mentioned in my last #followfriday that I’d been discovering more people recently and have become quite fastidious with my lists, much like I have been on Twitter. Well that has continued…

So let's jump straight in, five people this week, I may keep it that way from hereon in. I have a Main list, some of these people also exist under my other lists but I consider these folk to be on my kind of wavelength for one reason or another.

Paying it forward

Every person I feature in these posts, which I hope to schedule for each week will receive 10% beneficiary of the post rewards, since I've opted to power-up these up 100%. So there is an incentive! Maybe not a massive one because my account isn't as massive as some peoples'.

@scubahead

I’ve been enjoying their accounts of life onboard the narrow boat “Badger”, especially the recent trip to North Wales. Posts often span a few topics and communities in order to take part in #monomad which is worth doing in order to appeal to a wider audience of people.

@tdctunes

Electronic music artist TDC shares a lot of his broadcasts on Radio Brixton and other projects relating to how he distributes his music. I especially loved the cassette idea recently. It serves both as a reminder to people of my age as something nostalgic but at the same time will introduce younger people to some retro listening concepts that they may never have experienced before.Above all else fantastic synth music!

@tattoodjay

The man behind #wednesdaywalk a hugely popular community here on Hive. He writes some superb detailed posts of his own too. I think that’s the key to a decent online community, take part in what you created. So many people don’t do that. I get to see other parts of the world through this community, that’s amazing.

@grizzle

I’ve recently come across his account and I very much enjoy the music reviews and links to some great artists online. The other day I found out we have a mutual friend in real life despite living in different parts of the country. I hope we can persuade our friend to join Hive! Thanks for your posts @grizzle they’re great.

@kiers

Kiers introduced me to Hive and is a fellow photographer, concentrating on landscapes. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of this blockchain Kiers. I’ve become hooked on it

Keep it in the community

There are some great communities here on Hive and the cover post was sourced from Stock Images as a way of supporting the group. I will highlight some others I get involved with a lot in future posts.

In other news - HBD for fruit and veg?

Last week I talked about buying food with HBD. Is it true? Does it work.... well.... it did, we bought food with HBD. How cool. Need a lot more of it though, it would be amazing to buy more kit with Hive.
