Activists dressed as apes erected a 2000+ pound monolith in the style of "2001: A Space Odyssey" Wednesday morning outside the DEA headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.
The apes tell News2Share the monolith symbolizes evolution, and they wish the federal government would "evolve" past the drug war.
