Crafts made from cassava flou.

How are you today? Is the weather hot? The weather here is very hot during the daytime. But after watching the news in Thailand about heavy rain and flooding, it made me feel worried about my friends who live in Phuket. Anyway, I hope all my friends are happy and have a good day. Today my daughter and I have a little story to tell you. Starting with today my youngest daughter was sick so she didn't go to school. So I found a small activity for her to do today.

Making art made from cassava starch that is used instead of clay. Take cassava flour and mix it with warm water. Then take the tapioca flour that has been mixed until well combined and use it to play with instead of plasticine by creating toys, whether it be flowers, dolls, or anything else we can think of. Sometimes we make them into snacks for children to play with. okay. In fact, this cassava starch can be used to cook food, but today we use it to make toys for our children to enhance their muscle development and thinking.

My youngest daughter and I chose to make flowers. My daughter started using tapioca flour to make different kinds of bread like she had never seen before. As for me, I started by making 5 small round balls from the tapioca flour and then had my daughter take a ruler and press them flat against the paper. Then I had my daughter make a flower by pressing it with an iron to make it look like the petals of a flower. And gradually made the stem and leaves until it became a flower made from cassava starch.After making the flowers, we let them dry and then used colored pencils to paint them on the flower-shaped clay.
