Newbies Initiative

Hello everyone, Welcome to the second task of the Newbies Initiative First Edition 2023 which we discussed Hive Guidelines, Markdowns, and Canva Tutorials.

This task would focus on testing the newbies on their knowledge of what is expected of them as an author on Hive, with their skill in creating thumbnails for thier posts.

Hola a todos, Bienvenidos a la segunda tarea de la Iniciativa Newbies Primera Edición 2023 en la que discutimos Hive Guidelines, Markdowns, y Canva Tutorials.

Esta tarea se centraría en poner a prueba los conocimientos de los novatos sobre lo que se espera de ellos como autores en Hive, con su habilidad en la creación de miniaturas para sus mensajes.

NEWBIES TASKS

Here is the task for this week:

  • As a Hivean, What are things that are expected of you? What are the things which are not expected of you to not do?

  • Your thumbnail should be made with using Canva, show us the steps you took to make your thumbnail.

NB: You can always watch the Canva tutorial again by @ksam if you need help completing the canva task.

TAREAS PARA PRINCIPIANTES

Esta es la tarea para esta semana:

  • Como colmena, ¿qué cosas se espera que hagas? ¿Cuáles son las cosas que no se espera que no hagas?

  • Tu miniatura debe estar hecha con Canva, muéstranos los pasos que has seguido para hacerla.

NB: Siempre puedes volver a ver el tutorial de Canva de @ksam si necesitas ayuda para completar la tarea de Canva.

Below are the members of the initiative and their various teams. Follow the following instructions for your task.

  • Make your thumbnail an Original photo, and try out designing a thumbnail for your post using Canva.

  • Your post should not be less than 500 words.

  • Answer all questions...

  • Use the tag "#nbtask2" as one of your first 5 tags.

  • Share your entry as a link to this post and tag your team leader.

  • Share your entry on Leothreads and use the tags #nbtask2 and #newbieshive.

  • Engage on posts and threads of other authors.

  • The title of your first task should have "Newbies Task 2" accompanied with any other title you want to add to it.

Note: The deadline for this task is April 23rd.

I was going to look at the markdown and canva tutorial as we could all do with help to polish our posts, but says not found ...

sorry this is so, the video uploaded had some issues with 3speak. but you can look at this post here while and here for Canva. It was the point of reference for the tutorial.
