The importance of knowing how to safeguard your Hive account cannot be overemphasized.

In the video above, we had the honour of having @vickoly to give us a tutorial about Hive Keys and Security.

NEWBIES TASKS

Here is the task for the week:

  1. Highlight the steps involved in changing the trustee accounts (recovery accounts) to your hive account.

  1. If you invited someone to the Hive blockchain and had to give them a proper explanation of the function of each key, write out what your explanation will look like for each key.

  2. Peradventure, your account Active Key got exposed to the general public. What are the measures you'll take to safeguard your assets and account going forward?

  • Answer all questions...

  • Share your entry as a link to this post and tag your team leader.

  • Engage in the posts and threads of other authors.

  • The title of your first task should begin with "Newbies Task 3:" followed by any other creative title you choose for your post.

Note: The deadline for this task is June 1st.
