Flowers that are not always flowers - Illustration made in a traditional way [

Hoy dibujé flores nuevamente pero esta vez el motivo es encantador, muy encantador diría yo y es que mi hijo me trajo flores y verdaderas flores lol. Ya que casi todos los días lo hace, pero a veces solo me trae pasto u hojas secas, ya que él cree que eso también son flores, claro está que las recibo con amor igualmente, para mí la intensión es de lo más lindo.

Today I drew flowers again but this time the motive is charming, very charming I would say and that is that my son brought me flowers and real flowers lol. Since almost every day he does it, but sometimes he only brings me grass or dry leaves, since he believes that those are also flowers, of course I receive them with love anyway, for me the intention is the nicest.

Esta vez me trajo unas flores muy lindas de color púrpura con pequeños detalles amarillos. Según cuenta las vió en un jardín cuando caminaba con la abuela y una señora estaba cerca y el se las pidió para obsequiarmelas. Siempre cuando llega a casa con "flores" que no siempre son flores lol, llega muy emocionado, siempre me ha parecido un acto muy hermoso. Siempre me dice que las coloque en mi mesa de trabajo, entonces ya se imaginan que allí tengo un espacio con una cantidad de flores y no flores muy marchitas y siempre he creído que es algo que mi madre le inculcó. Cuando Allison era más pequeño solía caminar con mi madre por los alrededores y siempre traía flores y de allí quedó con la costumbre.

This time he brought me some very pretty purple flowers with small yellow details. According to him he saw them in a garden when he was walking with his grandmother and a lady was nearby and he asked her to give them to me as a gift. Always when he comes home with "flowers" which are not always flowers lol, he arrives very excited, I have always found it a very beautiful act. He always tells me to put them on my desk, so you can imagine that I have a space there with a lot of flowers and not very wilted flowers and I have always believed that it is something my mother instilled in him. When Allison was younger I used to walk around with my mother and she always brought flowers and that's where the habit stuck.

Ya veremos cuando siga creciendo si continua con esta linda costumbre y quizás el día de mañana sea su esposa e hijos los que disfruten de estos pequeños y grandes detalles. Entonces es por ese motivo que me animé a realizar esta ilustración hoy, rápida y sencilla,aunque me tomó más tiempo del que pensaba debido a que se me agotó mi bolígrafo tinta negra y tuve que salir y comprar algunos, lo que resultó en una aventura de bolígrafos a la final ya que aprendí mucho de ellos y de algunas marcas gracias al vendedor. Lo tomo como un Bonus.

We'll see when he gets older if he continues with this nice habit and maybe tomorrow it will be his wife and children who will enjoy these small and big details. So it is for that reason that I was encouraged to make this illustration today, quick and simple, although it took me longer than I thought because I ran out of my black ink pen and had to go out and buy some, which resulted in a pen adventure in the end as I learned a lot about them and some brands thanks to the seller. I take it as a Bonus.

Para mí dibujo de flores realicé mi boceto, algo muy sencillo, tratando de captar la florecillas que me trajo mi hijo, no tengo idea de que tipo de flores son pero eran bastante bonitas y redonditas. Luego de tener un boceto lo suficientemente bueno lo delinee un poco con mi cansado bolígrafo, que se quedó muerto a mitad de dibujo, no me puedo quejar dió una pelea fabulosa.

For my flower drawing I made my sketch, something very simple, trying to capture the little flowers that my son brought me, I have no idea what kind of flowers they are but they were quite pretty and round. After I had a good enough sketch I outlined it a bit with my tired pen, which died half way through the drawing, I can't complain, it put up a fabulous fight.

Luego de hacer el delineado borré las líneas de mi boceto, como pueden ver en las imágenes, esto lo hago para que los tonos de color no se vean alterados por el grafito lo que hace que el dibujo se vea más pulcro. Luego comencé dándole color a nuestras florecillas, capa por capa para darle matices.

After making the outline I erased the lines of my sketch, as you can see in the images, I do this so that the color tones are not altered by the graphite which makes the drawing look neater. Then I started giving color to our little flowers, layer by layer to give them nuances.

Finalmente es hora de trabajar con el bolígrafo, para dar tanto contraste como se pueda, esto también crea mucho brillo y queda un dibujo muy intenso. Y así es como nace esta ilustración sencilla, partiendo de un detalle que se transformó en un sentimiento y luego en una acción para plasmar en el tiempo. Finally it's time to work with the pen, to give as much contrast as possible, this also creates a lot of brightness and a very intense drawing. And that's how this simple illustration was born, starting from a detail that turned into a feeling and then into an action to capture in time.
