Qurator’s Photo Quest: Construction (En/Es)

When I walk along the streets and see an interesting situation or scene, I decide to capture it with the equipment that I have at hand, that usually is the camera of my cell phone. This was the case of the photos that I share in this post. Some months ago I was walking and I saw that some workers were working in the maintenance and paving the roads, and I captured these images.

Cuando camino a lo largo de la calle, y veo alguna situación que valga la pena plasmarla en fotos, lo hago, con el equipo que tenga a la mano, que por lo general es la cámara de mi teléfono móvil. Tal fue el caso de las imágenes que hoy publico. Hace un tiempo estaba transitando y veo los obreros trabajando en la reparación y pavimentación de la vía publica, capté la escena.

The photos were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S20 and edited in Gimp. The first photo is shown in color and black and white, whereas the second is shown with selective desaturation and black and white. All the processing and editing was done in Gimp.

Las imágenes fueron tomadas con la cámara de un Samsung Galaxy S20 y editadas en Gimp. La primera fotografía la muestro en color y blanco y negro, mientras que la segunda es en desaturación selectiva y en blanco y negro. Toda la edición se realizó en Gimp.
