Wings, Birds, #SMaP

Hello, hello, hello

This week in Feathered Friends Community #SMaP (Show me a photo Contest) is about Wings. The link to the contest post is here and I am expecting your entries. 🙂

Now, let me show you my collection of wings starting with the cormorant.The picture is not very sharp when the bird after few divings decided to raise and flap the wings.

Here is the best shot of the cormorant with some reflection.

This is the same bird I showed in my post for Reflection Hunters Contest. I was surprised to see it in the pond where usually paddle boats and ducks share the small space in the water.

Another not so good image, this hoopoe took me by surprise. The bird was on the path and took off the moment I spotted it.

Bee-eaters, noisy litter buggers. Love to watch them fly above. They are one of the few colourful birds one can see here. Soon they will be gone until spring time when they will return.

So happy I managed to snap this image of the bird perching on a bare branch and close enough.

These were some random photos I chose and they are samples for illustrating the prompt of the #SMaP. You have always the freedom to interprete when you enter the contest. With camera or phone, you can do it. Let us see your images.
