Season Hunt challenge - Leaves
I love autumn with its colours, the lush green of the summer gradually give away to the golden, red and brown. The trees and shrubs changed their look and the leaves start falling and making beautiful multicolored carpet. This is the time when we have endless opportunities to photograph the leaves and to admire the beauty of the autumn.
And here comes the challenge. Our one and only @barbara-orenya hosts a new contest in Feel Good Community. I could not enter the first week, but now I can't miss it. Here is the link - Season Hunt challenge, week 2 ..we are chasing LEAVES and I invite you to join. It is fun to hunt and photograph certain objects and each week we will be having something new. Expectation is thrilling.
So, leaves are now the object and I have already made a small collection of images.
One morning on my way to the shop I passed by the kids playground. Outside it is surrounded by benches and the leaves from the trees above have already started to fall.

Carpet of leaves
This is the small wood where we loved to walk and look for birds. The leaves soften the sound, but soon they will be dry and when walking they will rustle. This place is within the neighborhood and the noise from the road next to it spoil that feeling of being only you and the only sound that rustle beneath your shoes. I close my eys and I imagine I am in the woods away from the town. Then all I could hear is how the leaves fall. I never meditate, but I think this would be a nice way to get some relief from the stress.
And after week time, today to be more precise, the same place is fully covered and because we had no rain this week, the leaves are dry and become more brownish.

The magic leaf
No, I did not catch it falling, although I wished to. If you look carefully, you will see the web silk that actually caught the falling leaf.
And on next image you can see how perfectly the leaf is hanging.
Even the breeze cannot release it and leaf was turning side ways. So strong this silk thread is.

Leaf and the fence
Each time I pass by the fenced playground I see some leaves stuck on it and today was not an exception. Look how the leaf is hooked on the wire.

The beauty of the multicolored trees is visible from afar. But have a look closely what amazing pallette the nature is using.

And that's all I have for Season Hunt challenge, week 2. I will keep on hunting/chasing the leaves until the winter comes and the trees will be completely bare.

I could not make a post for the first challenge with the pumpkins. You know how much fun we had last year with the alphabet challenge. I am sure we will have fun weeks ahead.
Yes, I missed you in the pumpkins search. Understandably you have been busy running your contest, curating, work, and keeping mind to the Feathered Friends Community. It's a wonder you still found the time for this hunt. But as they say, "Happiness is where the heart is." And I know your heart is in this awesome Season Hunt Challenge as mine is too 🥰
You understand me completely well. I will try to follow the challenge as much as I can. By the way I was about to buy some staff and to make a post about pumkins, but I forgot my so called green certificate and could not enter the shop. Then in the supermarket photos are not allowed and the pumkins looked terrible. Halloween is not a big holiday here on top of that. But we move on and I am curious about the next challenge.
Aww that's too bad leaving behind the green certificate. Is this a proof of vaccination against Covid?
I too almost did not make it to the pumpkin hunt. Good thing my daughter came up with some digital art and also @barbara-orenya gave the go signal to include squash, which is all we have here. No pumpkins 😩
