Feathered Friends At Work
I would like to share some photos of birds I made recently. All of them I took near my office.
The first image is of what I think to be yellow wagtail. Maybe @ratel can help to identify it correctly.
White wagtails are always around my office and I see them everyday, but this yellow one I saw just once. A glimpse and it was gone, leaving me with three shots only.
The pile of stones attracts other birds - here we have Northern Wheatear.
This bird I don't see very often, actually the first time to encounter the Northern Wheatear was on that same place.
But what I see almost every day is the redstart, this looks a young bird.
And these photos are from today.
And I will end with what we have in abundance - doves, which I must admit I ignore most of the time.
Trust me, there are many other birds, but I will show their pictures next time. And that's all for now.
Happy birding!

Thank you 🙂
I am really fortunate to have such diversity of life around me.
That you are, which is great, because it means we get to see them!
Oh, there is more to come. 😉

Thank you so much! Greatly appreaciated!
You're very welcome @nelinoeva 😊
Oh, it's a black-headed wagtail. Some view it as a subspecies of the yellow wagtail (Motacilla feldegg)
And the young redstart it seems is a black redstart.
Thank you @ratel for helping me to identify the wagtail and the redstart.🙂
I wish I could see again the wagtail.
I've hardly ever seen a yellow wagtail before, or maybe it actually almost never lived in our region. But now I see these birds every day when I walk towards the river. Yesterday I was walking my dog and took a lot of photos of this yellow bird. But I haven't watched the result yet.
How amazing is that, I will look forward to see your photos. 🙂
