Seguimos el reportaje deportivo del Campeonato Invitacional de Baloncesto U14 femenino, efectuado en Marigüitar, en su segundo día, sábado 14 de diciembre, estuvo entretenido, emocionante y muy competitivo, ya que ese mismo día se llevaron a cabo 5 partidos de baloncesto entre los 7 equipos que acudieron al encuentro Invitacional, en el Gimnasio Raimundo Yant (Liceo de Talentos Deportivo Arévalo González de Marigüitar), ellos fueron: Águilas de Río Caribe (blanco con negro), Piratas de Anzoátegui (naranja), Óscar García de Yaguaraparo (blanco con rayas azules), Morochito Rodríguez de Cumaná (azul con morado), 24 de Julio de Cumaná (rojo), Águilas de Fuego A de Marigüitar (negro con rojo) y Águilas de Fuego B de Marigüitar (negro con rojo)

We continue the sports report of the Invitational Basketball Championship U14 female, held in Marigüitar, on its second day, Saturday, December 14, it was entertaining, exciting and very competitive, since that same day 5 basketball games were held between the 7 teams that attended the Invitational meeting, in the Raimundo Yant Gymnasium (Liceo de Talentos Deportivo Arévalo González de Marigüitar), they were: Águilas de Río Caribe (white with black), Piratas de Anzoátegui (orange), Óscar García de Yaguaraparo (white with blue stripes), Morochito Rodríguez de Cumaná (blue with purple), 24 de Julio de Cumaná (red), Águilas de Fuego A de Marigüitar (black with red) and Águilas de Fuego B de Marigüitar (black with red).

El Campeonato Invitacional de Baloncesto inició a las 10 de la mañana, con mucha emoción y competencia, no estuve cuando inició este encuentro, llegue como a las 11 am, pero según algunos representantes presentes, que estuvo buenísimo el juego de la primera hora, donde se enfrentaron Morochito Rodríguez y las Águilas de Río Caribe, Morochito Rodríguez mostró su superioridad en el juego, logrando una victoria convincente.

Después de unos calentamientos previos se llevó a cabo el juego entre Óscar García y los Piratas, este encuentro me encontraba presente a partir del segundo cuarto, donde terminó a 26X24 a favor de Piratas, este partido demostró dinamismo entre los jugadores de ambos equipos, nadie quería perder, así continuo con buenas jugadas defensivas y ofensivas, que nos mantuvo a los espectadores en sus asientos, pendiente de cada jugada, cerrando el último cuarto en empate, como había finalizado el tiempo reglamentario, el partido tuvo que ir a un tiempo extra, este tiempo extra tuvo mucha adrenalina, se puede decir que fue feroz, el equipo de Piratas mostró su determinación y habilidad, logrando imponerse sobre Óscar García, donde los Piratas finalmente se llevaron la victoria con un marcador de 54 a 47, felicito a ambos equipos demostraron un gran nivel de juego.

La cuarta hora de este Invitacional, trajo consigo otro enfrentamiento emocionante, esta vez entre los equipos de Águilas de Fuego A y Águilas de Fuego B. En este partido, inicio reñido, a pesar de que Águilas de Fuego A, son más grandes que las Águilas de Fuego B, demostraron un partido de competitividad, el primer cuarto terminó en 28x25 a favor de Águilas B, el segundo y tercer cuarto, se mantuvieron en la lucha, terminando el tercer cuarto con el marcador a 34X45 a favor de Águilas A, después que sacaron a una de las mejores jugadoras de Águilas B, por un golpe que le dio otra jugadora de Águilas A, era la que estaba tomando todos los rebotes y anotando puntos, el equipo se descontroló por completo, no hubo quien las parara a las Águilas A, se mostró dominante en el último cuarto terminando en 43 a 60 a su favor, logrando así, una contundente victoria al cierre del encuentro, se notó que ambos equipos su desempeño en la cancha fue impresionante, destacándose tanto en defensa como en ataque.

Finalmente, el último encuentro, donde se enfrentaron Piratas y Águilas de Río Caribe, en este partido, no tuve la oportunidad de verlo, ya estábamos agotados, Sofía, mi esposo Julio y yo, pero según los asistentes, estuvo muy prometedor, fue otro capítulo emocionante en el campeonato, donde Piratas fue el merecedor de ese encuentro. En cuanto a las posiciones, se fueron llevando por average de todos los equipos, los que iban encabezando los primeros lugares, Águilas de Fuego A y Morochito Rodríguez, cada equipo debía de buscar el día domingo, mejorar su posición y calidad en este Invitacional de baloncesto femenino U14.
