See who’s walking down the aisle(a new bie) 😊

Hello beautiful friends on this platform, how are we all doing, hope we’re all doing amazingly well.
Friends here’s a new bie and am here to learn and explore my ideas with you all too. My name is miracle Joel, am from Akwa ibom state, Nigeria. Born into a family of eight (8), am actually the last born, am 22 years of age. I was born on January 30th, am a fashion designer, I think have been sewing all my life, can’t remember from when I started actually, practically I could say sewing is my life in actual sense, since I was born right from when I was a minor, Sewing is in my Linage, it’s a long history, my grandma and grandpa were both tailors and there parent too were also into sewing too and my mom inherited it from my grandparents and me I inherited it from my mom, the most surprising thing is that i didn’t struggle or went for any training to know how to make dressing I just sit and get an inspiration and guidelines how to make a particular style and that has worked for me since when I was a kid grow up, it’s has shaped me into the man, I’m today.

I wasn’t fortunate enough to meet with dad, mom told me he died few months before I was born, mom told me excited things about my late dad that I sometimes wished things had happened differently an gave me an opportunity to meet with dad first before his demise 😭😭😭, I was shocked when mom said said dad was also a fashion designer along with her same way her parents(my grandma and grandpa) were also fashion designers and here am I, it’s running in my DNA and am so good at it.
Since from when I was born mom has been the one helping me with the paddling of the machine till I was good at it at a very tender age I already knew how to paddle to sew 😂.

She also gave me basic guidelines, how how to see a beautiful style and making it, she’s had been my mentors along, when I was much younger, I loved hand sewing needles a lot, I used them to make dull dress 👗, both male and female dull dresses, I took the left over pieces from my moms cloth already sewed cloth bag and I use scissors and a tape✂️ to cut the fabric imagining how mom do cut hers, with the picture in my head I just find my self doing the cutting and using an hand sewing 🪡 needle 🪡 with thread to sew them and most times I do take the dull cloths I make to school so my friends could see and test it with there dulls, it does fit and and they will be so happy and most times there’ll buy it from me and give me money, I’ll use the money to eat in school and take back some money to my mom too she’ll just be laughing at me. Most times I get beaten in school for bring a sharp objects to school ( the needle 🪡) but that never affected it because I started making money by making little dressing for my friend’s dull so I was just happy that at a tender age I have found my self along with my purpose, I kept on going to school with my needle regardless, I kept on making money in school and they kept on flogging me 😂.

My mom seeing that I do hand sewing and making money that was when she thought me how the use the real machine to sew as well, immediately i was done with high school in 2018, there wasn’t money to further my education at the moment so I decided to go into fashion designing proper, going to acquire more skills in it and being an expert at it as well. In another way I gave my elder siblings an opportunity to go a little bit ahead of me educationally, our culture over her is that a junior shouldn’t be ahead of the senior one in anyway, including in marriage, the elder sister as to be married first before the younger one can, if an husband doesn’t comes for the elderly one then the younger one might as well remain single even if she has suitors coming for her she won’t be going out for marriage unless the elderly one is married first so that how it is over here, so I wasn’t allowed to write jamb immediately and further my education before my elder brother were still not yet in school so I had to give them time, so while waiting for them I had to keep my self busy so I ventured into my fashion and designing proper. Tho my mom didn’t have money to further our education all at once so that also made me to excuse a little bit of patience.

So am still here tho, waiting for them to all get into school before I do am actually the last born, we’re 5boys and 3girls in all we’re 8 in number and am the last born so everything is particularly on me I have to wait for everybody and it really pains me, maybe if dad was to be alive maybe things would have been more different, I just missed him tho, destiny would have at least given me an opportunity to meet him before his demise, but no one can predict or determine the future, so I keep thanking God even in bad times because I know he’ll make a way for me. Most times I wonder why am the only one out of all my brother that picked interest in this out family sewing stuff, I got the gifting naturally and the rest of my siblings have no time for such.

I wanted to rent a shop so I could establish my self proper but there wasn’t money so I had to work at a cloth making company called (ulbertini) that’s the name of the company, there I sew suits and also sew senator wears, I specialize on both actually, but I really love making senator wears, shirts, trousers than suits it’s always very stressful, I hate stress! 😂 I love enjoying my self and having lots and lots of rest. I was introduced to this hive platform by a friend that works at my work place too and his the one that will be guiding me while am here 😂 thank you @smilestitches for introducing me to this another way of life, thank you so much, now all my content won’t be wasted because I’ll exploring them here can’t wait 😂 to start!!!!

My life outside the spotlight:

Am a very quiet type, I say a lot but yet am still tagged the most quiet person ever, I look innocent and very quiet, you’ll never know I talk much until am been taking out of my comfort zone, am also a very shy person, am an expert in staying quiet, I tend too quiet especially when am in a new place, I do stay quiet and observe things, am a good observer actually and I think a lot. Recently I saw a status, that thinking are world changers and also they are 90% correct most times setting there mind on something, I saw that and that gave my thinking a boost 😂. Now I think even when it’s not necessary 😂 😂 I just keep thinking..................

I like giving, giving to others has really exposed me to favors, so I’ll advice you start giving if you were not and if you were weldon.....
I like traveling
I like making new friends
I like learning new things most especially because I believe no knowledge is a waste, I believe as time go by that knowledge will be needed to get you out of a situation so I just keep learning and educating my self, I like going overboard to know, so you can say it’s an habit of mine.

My favorite movie series:

Big brother Naija (Nigeria)🇳🇬 which is ongoing, I love most of the house mate who are cool not those harsh ones like phyna and chichi, I like Amaka, Daniela too and the rest of them who are cool and calm.

I love zeeworld series, I love all the ongoing series, I follow them up every evening when I come back from work. I follow them all so well and they’re all very interesting so watch........

I love watching wrestling 🤼‍♀️, my favorite wrestler is Roman Regins and my love for him has made me borrow his name actually, for those of us who watch wrestling Roman’s fans calls him the Needlemover and the tribal chief and it’s also written on his T-shirt too that his a “Needlemover”, I think I prefer the Needlemover more than the tribal chief. Now actually it’s mean that he create his own time and opportunity and his the current reigning champion with two belts Both the universe belt and the world heavyweight championship belt too so his currently everyone’s favorite wrestler so I had to borrow that his name from him and I told my friends to be calling me that too, some of my friends knows me as Needlemover too and it matches so well with my profession, I sew so I could also say am a Needlemover that why I decided to open my hive account using that name but this name is not my brand business name tho, my brand business name is “kingsmaker”. My mom actually gave me that name reason being that I make outfit for people and they wear them and look like king so that was why my mom gave me that name, the kingsmaker, I love that name tho and I use it as my brand name. I make outfit for my customers, I haven’t so many customers and I get compliments from them, outfit I make looks really good on them and that make them looks royalty just like a king so my mom saw that and calls me kingsmaker.

Miracle Joel is my real name, but my brand name is kingsmaker, you can also call me needlemover too I love both names 😊. I love styling my self to an event, I decline most of my event I was supposed to attend because 😂 I was unable to finish my new outfit to the event. I only go to an event when the new outfit I planned to wear to that place is ready 😂 and well designed or I won’t be going. I love styling my self I mean am a fashion designer so I believe my appearance should do the taking 😊.

My service to God

Am a Christian and lover of God, I play drums in my church, that’s the service I render to God.

So my main aim for coming on this platform is to educate others with the little I could offer and also I get educated too. So friends watch out for me I’ll be coming out strongly with my design and styles so watch out am coming so strong.........
