Last Sunday, May 14, Mother's Day was celebrated in Venezuela. For me this is a propitious date to give even more thanks for being mothers beyond the commercial, we assume it as special in all its splendor and it has become a custom every year.

Each family plans its activities based on traditions and others because they are organized even improvisationally, the sure thing is that this day does not go blank.

My mother is a wonderful, loving, friendly, cool, witty, healthy woman, in short, there are plenty of adjectives to describe her and this year she was the only one who did not get sick from a virus like the rest of the inhabitants of the house, so we couldn't do much and we had to create the atmosphere in our home without fanfare.

For a week we were caught by a terrible virus and we are in the middle of the process, however that did not stop my mother, my sister, the children and I from having a fun time , counting on the fact that my mother was the only one who could have a few beers.

The truth is that since the day began it has not stopped being special for me because my daughter made me a beautiful card with her details and gave it to me when I woke up with a gift from part of her dad because according to her she doesn't have money to buy me one, hehehe.

That couple was hiding the gift for days so that I wouldn't find it and Daríana was about to tell me but she was more discreet and faithful to her commitment to her father not to say anything, that speaks highly of her.

They gave me some very nice sunglasses, chocolates to make me fatter and a cream and splash duo, for me it was a beautiful detail that I did not expect and the truth is that I must to be grateful for being a mother thanks to my Dari, she is the most precious treasure of my life with an incalculable value.

Of course the moms in my house don't cook this day, well, hehehe, so my husband prepares breakfast and lunch, that makes it more than special and with these I didn't even want to peek into the kitchen.

Gifts have more sentimental value than material value for us and my daughter gave a beautiful card to my mother and sister, both accompanied by their gift.

After lunch my husband and my daughter went to visit my mother-in-law to bring her a small gift and since I am sicker than everyone, I preferred to stay at home so as not to infect my dear mother-in-law because she is an elderly person with other medical complications. Dariana gave her a gift.

Back they brought me another detail that I loved more than anything, hehehe, my favorite XXL version snacks, I almost died of joy, and my mother-in-law sent me a chocolate, so beautiful

In the afternoon we dress up a bit so we don't look so ugly in the photos, however, no dyeing or ironing our hair because that doesn't go with my cough and flu. What was possible was done.

My husband is the only one who is in good health, my daughter is much better and I am well...

At home only my mother, my sister, my daughter, my nephew and I were left and taking advantage of the fact that under the sun we sat in front of the house to talk while my mother went drank a few beers and listened to music.

My daughter and I are always closer than the stars, we are inseparable and wherever I am, she keeps me company. She is the best version of me and I would do anything for her.

We gave my mom a small horn so she can listen to the music she wants connected to her mobile via bluetooth. He was happier and even happier with his beers.

The mothers of families are together through thick and thin, always blessed to have the joy of being a mother and to have the company of our witty and loving mother.

In the end we ended up spending the evening in my room listening to TV because the heat made us run from the patio, my sister had a beer so as not to lose the habit and then from a dinner with hamburgers and a soft drink that my husband ordered us, we had a calm, warm, relaxed mother's day, with my mother's occurrences, with the dances and games of the children, undergoing medical treatment and always together, without cooking Thank God, hehe. When we're better my husband promised to take us out to eat, in the meantime we remain committed to recovery.
