From Chains to Wings

Once upon a time, in a far away land, that's perfectly located at the north of the south. In a vast land where rivers flow from every latitude feeding with fresh water, the soil making grow with the tallest trees and the most colorful flowers , with high mountain where the snow start to grow, with a desert that never would be alone, and a deep jungle, that lets the world breath a little more.

There is a young woman, with long black hair, with brown skin like the cacao beans, with eyes that are milky brown like the Amazon, with lips so red like the juiciest fruit that can only be found in the deepest side of the jungle.
.
She dreams with fly high like the birds that sing beautiful songs of freedom every day.
.
Her family has her locked away, all the creatures want to devour her, and all the mean kings what to marry her.
.
But, she just wanted to fly.
.
One night, when the darkest was deep and quiet, she whispered to the air:

Mother Earth, send your children to carry me away. Let me reach the highest waterfall, and from its peak, I'll leap and become a bird, free to sleep among the clouds.
.
The children of the Earth heard her call, and they came. The birds helped her descend from her tower, and she climbed onto the back of the bravest tiger. All night they journeyed in silence, the tiger's paws padding softly on the earth, the cool night air whispering through the trees.

The jungle seemed to hold its breath, waiting for her to break free from her chains.

At the base of the world's highest waterfall, she began her climb. Her limbs trembled, and her heart pounded, but the sun, rising like a golden beacon, called to her,

"Just a bit more; you are almost free".
.
When she reached the top, she took a deep breath and jumped. The wind embraced her, lifting her higher and higher. She did not fall; she soared, her body stretching and transforming into a magnificent bird with black feathers and a vibrant, colorful tail.

She flew away, soaring above the jungle, glamorous, beautiful, and powerful. She flew away to never return, forever searching for the highest waterfalls and the deepest jungles, where she could rest and watch the sun rise again and again, free at last

So magical. Hehe.

While reader sees the things in their own point of view, I want to see the story through the author's point of view. Is it a metaphor? What is the central idea of the story? And what do the girl and children of earth represent?
