Paper kite, when I think of this theme I am transported to a place full of nature, with blue skies, green hills and lots of wind. Maybe because imagining a kite is something that automatically makes you think of flying it in the best possible context, in the most pleasant place.

The theme also reminded me of my dear brother Govinda, who is always making kites with bags and recycled materials, I confess they look pretty good on him. That's why I can also feel a childlike energy that inspires play and creation. And so it is, when we are children, enjoying everyday things is something natural in our happy innocence, which later leads us to creativity and imagination.

When I was a child, I remember that I was always imagining things, imagining worlds and stories in which I played a fundamental role. Really doing that was something quite entertaining, not only for distraction, but also for inspiration and even, at times, hope. Playing is a transcendental way of relating to oneself and to the environment, it is an interaction full of happiness, inspiration and harmony; it is something very similar to art.

Although there is a technical aspect to music, the aspect of play is also very present and equally important. Play is creation and inspiration, it is a dance of theater and formation from the divine. So playing can feel the same as when you play or compose a song. It is a pity that these aspects are being lost as the human being becomes an adult.

Anyway, I have brought for this week a very beautiful song by the Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes. The song is called Un día normal (A normal day) and reflects the expression of an optimistic mood guided by the value to be attributed to things before losing them and realizing how important they were. Its energy is like that of a sunny day, when you carry out wonderful activities for the happiness of yourself and others. Days and life will always be as they are, they may be bad at times, but the integrity of oneself in deciding to be happy is what must never fall, the conviction of our truth is what must always prevail in the face of any storm; the courage in our heart is what must always guide our outlook on life.

Cometa de papel, al pensar en esta temática me traslado a un lugar lleno de naturaleza, con cielos azules, colinas verdes y mucho viento. Tal vez porque el imaginarse una cometa es algo que automáticamente te hace pensar en volarla en el mejor contexto posible, en el lugar más agradable.

La temática también me hizo recordar a mi querido hermano Govinda, el cual siempre se la pasa fabricando cometas con bolsas y materiales reciclados, confieso que le quedan bastante bien. Por eso también puedo sentir una energía infantil que inspira al juego y a la creación. Y es así, cuando somos niños, el gozar de las cosas cotidianas es algo natural en nuestra feliz inocencia, lo que nos lleva posteriormente a la creatividad y a la imaginación.

Cuando yo era niño, recuerdo que siempre estaba imaginando cosas, imaginaba mundos e historias en las cuales yo jugaba un papel fundamental. De verdad hacer eso era algo bastante entretenido, no solo para distraerse, si no también para inspirarse e incluso, en ocaciones, esperanzarse. Jugar es una trascendental de relacionarse con uno mismo y con el entorno, es una interacción llena de felicidad, inspiración y armonía; es algo muy parecido al arte.

A pesar que en la música exista el aspecto técnico, también está muy presente, y con igual importancia, el aspecto del juego. El juego es creación e inspiración, es un baile de teatro y formación desde lo divino. So jugar se puede sentir lo mismo que cuando tocas o compones una canción. Lastima que estos aspectos se van perdiendo a medida que el ser humano se vuelve adulto.

En fin, he traído para esta semana una canción muy bella del cantautor colombiano Juanes. La canción se llama Un día normal (A normal day) y refleja la expresión de un estado de ánimo optimista guiado por el valor que se le debe atribuir a las cosas antes de perderlas y darse cuenta de lo importantes que eran. Su energía es como la de un día soleado, cuando llevas a cabo actividades maravillosas para la felicidad tuya y de los demás. Los días y la vida siempre serán como son, pueden ser malos a veces, pero la integridad de uno mismo al decidir ser feliz es la que nunca debe caer, la convicción de nuestra verdad es la que siempre debe prevalecer ante cualquier tormenta; el valor en nuestro corazón es el que siempre debe guiar nuestra perspectiva de la vida.
