I always feel very proud to have taken birth as a Woman. I feel that being a Woman is a blessing, the biggest blessing that the Universe has given, the Universe is a life creator and so does a Woman which makes her as powerful as the Universe itself is. Many women underestimate their power, but they do not realize that if the Universe herself has chosen a Woman to create life within her, then how much power a woman must be holding within her.

Woman have always been given the second place in this world, over the centuries the men have dominated and suppressed women in many ways. Probably because they fear the power of the women. In many ways they have tried to prove that the Women are inferior to them. The very fact that they keep talking about equality is because they believe that the women is inferior and they need to rise up. Why do they have such beliefs in the first place?
In many cultures and religions also, specific rules are laid out for woman separately.

In the olden times in India, there was a ritual laid for women that a widow women need to perform Sati. The ritual of Sati is after the death of husband the woman burns herself alive. Such an atrocious ritual, and no such ritual for man.
But to think of it, the Women had that power to end their lives in such horrific manner. Can a man ever do that, willfully burn alive and end life. I guess never. The man would rather get married again and start a new life.

I believe that every woman has a lot of power, they can stretch to any limits and if they decide on something they can just prove it. The endurance power of a woman is much more then the physical strength of a man. A man may be just physically strong but inside they are empty boxes.

Man forget that to bring in a balance in life both the Masculine and Feminine energies are equally important and needs to be nurtured and balanced. An imbalance in these energies means and imbalance of life. We live on a Planet which is called Mother Earth, who gives them all the elements to nurture life. Being Feminine is not weak, rather it is more about connecting with the core of our Creator herself.

By the act of rapes and violence the man feels that they have controlled woman, for the very reason that they fear woman, they always want to keep them suppressed and hence they can go to any extent to prove their male dominance. Even in the mythological stories that we read right from the time of Ramayana and Mahabharat where the woman were abused and always given a second place. The acts of making woman inferior in comparison to man is not something from a few centuries ago but it is right from these times of human existence.

Will this ever change? I guess No...unless the women themselves realize how much power they hold and stand up for themselves. Unless they oppose the discrimination that happens to them at every level of life. If the society has to grow they need to understand that the balance of both these energies are required.
