Lublin, my view of it's interesting places./Люблін, мій погляд на його цікаві місця. (En/Ua)

Hi to all. Today I am describing interesting, in my opinion, places worth visiting in the city of Lublin, Poland. The first thing that attracted me to the site was the beautifully preserved and restored royal castle. The entrance gate resembles a scary face.

Привіт усім. Сьогодні я описую цікаві, на мій погляд місця, які варто відвідати в місті Люблін, Польща. Перше, що привабило мене в темісце, це чудово збережений і відреставрований королівський замок. Вхідна брама нагадує страхітливе обличчя.

Passing through the gate, I found myself in a spacious courtyard. To my right is a well. Ahead is the tower and the chapel, which have survived to this day (the first mention of the tower and the chapel in written sources dates back to the 13th century). They are possibly the oldest buildings in Poland. The castle and gate are tenements built later.

Пройшовши крізь браму я потрапила на просторе подвір'я. З права від мене розташована криниця. Попереду вежа і каплиця, які збереглися до наших часів( перша згадка в писемних джерелах про вежу і каплицю датується 13 століттям) . Вони є можливо найстарішими будівлями в цілій Польщі. Замок і брама це вже пізніше побудовані кам'яниці.

I climbed the tower, although it was quite hot. It is always convenient for me to see the surrounding city from a height.

Я піднялася на вежу, хоч було досить спекотно. З висоти завжди мені зручно розгледіти навколишнє місто.

I can clearly see the old city from the tower. I really want to walk those old streets.

З вежі чітко видно мені старе місто. Я дуже хочу пройтися тими старими вулицями.

It is very worthwhile to go to the chapel. There, all the walls and the ceiling are completely painted with biblical pictures. It is wonderful that all the paintings have reached us and we can examine and touch the history of icon painting.

Дуже вартує піти в каплицю. Там повністю всі стіни і стеля розмальовані біблійними картинами. Це чудово, що усі розписи дійшли до нас і ми можемо розглянути і доторкнутися до історії іконопису.

The roads in the old town of Lublin are paved with cobblestones.

Дороги в старому місті Люблін вкриті бруківкою.

The symbol of the city of Lublin is a goat. Also, a goat is depicted on the coat of arms of the city, and figurines of goats with various attributes are placed around the city. The goat symbolizes fertility and love.

Символ міста Люблін це коза. Також коза зображена на гербі міста і по місту розставлені фігурки кіз з різними атрибутами. Коза символізує родючість і любов.

Trinity Tower, it is a high tower from which you can see part of the city. It is the tallest building in the central part of the city, and has a height of about 40 meters.

Тринітарська вежа, це висока вежа з якої можна побачити частину міста. Це є найвища споруда центральної частини міста, і має висоту близько 40 метрів.

Kraków Gate most likely led travelers from Kraków. In this place, I want to photograph everything and remember every corner, every brick.

Краківська брама швидше за все вела подорожуючих з Кракова. В цьому місці мені хочеться все фотографувати і кожен куточок, кожну цеглину запам'ятати.

I really liked this city! Do you know how? As if I lived here all the time. I walked through the narrow streets of the city, densely built-up houses and nearby buildings
, many objects were left in their original condition. Majestic churches with large-scale internal gilding are impressive. The entire central part of the old city works harmoniously for tourists. Everything here is clear and accessible to me.

Дуже мені сподобалося це місто! От знаєте як? Наче я весь час тут жила. Я йшла вузькими вуличками міста, щільно забудованими будинками і прилеглими будівлями, багато об'єктів залишено в їхавтентичному стані. Величні костели з масштабною внутрішньою позолотою вражають. Уся центральна частина старого міста злагоджено працює для туристів. Все мені тут зрозуміло і доступно.

Each house caused me its own special admiration. I had time and the opportunity to take my time and finally wait for the evening.

Кожен будинок викликав в мене своє особливе захоплення. В мене був час і можливість не поспішати і врешті дочекатися вечора.

Maxim also really wanted to run in the cold water of the large multimedia fountain.

Максиму також дуже хотілося побігати в холодній воді великого мультимедійного фонтану.

Around 22:00 local time, a real water spectacle began. Water jets together with colored light created incredible effects. Many people gathered around the fountain. For an hour, we will look at the water-laser show about the history of the city, and about its present time.

Десь о 22 годині за місцевим часом розпочалося справжнє водяне видовище. Водяні струмені разом з кольоровим світлом створювали неймовірний ефекти. Навколо фонтану зібралося багато людей. Впродовж години ми оглядати водяно-лазерне шоу про історію міста, і про теперішній час.

The next morning I went to a reservoir near the city of Lublin. Here everything is built for a relaxing holiday.

Наступного ранку я поїхала на водосховище біля міста Люблін. Тут все збудовано для спокійного відпочинку.

Our next stop was a large area of ​​the local open-air museum. This is the place where I immerse myself in the life of our ancestors. It is there that you have the opportunity to see how people used to live, without having the convenient means that we have today. Most things are made by hand from wood. There is a part of the town where every door reveals to us the concept of artisans and their professions.

Наступна зупинка була для нас велика територія місцевого скансену. Це місце в якому я поринаю в життя наших предків. Саме там є можливість побачити як жили раніше, не маючи зручних засобів, які є в нас сьогодні. Більшість речей зроблено вручну з дерева. Є частина містечка, де кожні двері відкривають нам поняття про ремісників і їх професії.

Finally, I want to tell you about the Majdanek concentration camp in Lublin. It was a factory of death for Poles, Jews and other peoples. To record, 130,000 people passed through this camp, and 80,000 died a terrible death. The walls of one of the rooms have a blue color from the fact that the poison "Zyklon B" was used. People's bodies were burned in ovens. And the remains and ashes were poured into a big pile. It reached the point that up to 1,000 bodies were burned per day. Therefore, the German leaders decided to build a real crematorium on the territory, which burned the bodies of tens of thousands of people day and night.

Наостанок хочу вам розповісти про концтабір Майданек в Любліні. Це була фабрика смерті для поляків, євреїв та інших народів. За записати через цей табір пройшли 130 тис люлей, а 80 тис. померли страшною смертю. Стіни однієї з кімнат мають синій колір від того, що використовувалася отрута "Циклон Б". Тіла людей спалювали в печах. А рештки і попіл висипали на велику купу. Досягало до того, що за добу спалювали до 1000 тіл. Тому вирішили німецькі керівники збудувати на території справжній крематорії, який вдень і вночі спалював тіла десятки тисяч людей.

I'm not afraid here now. Such historical monuments are needed so that each succeeding generation understands that occupation brings death and hunger.

Зараз тут мені не страшно. Такі історичні пам'ятки потрібні для того, щоб кожне наступне покоління розумілося, що окупація приносить смерть і голод.
