Glimpse of the celebration of dev diwali
Let us light diya (earthen lamp ) and wish that May all our lives always be bright and prosperous.
Hello and namaste dear friends !
How are you all ? Hope you all are good and enjoying yourself. I am also good and Trying to stay positive and happy ๐.
Some days ago i share some glimpse of celebration of diwali. We celebrate dev Diwali on the full moon day exactly 15 days after Diwali . Which is the last day of Kartik month. Or we also known this day as guru nanak jayanti. Karthik month is a month In this month there is some celebration every day in India.
Dev diwali is also a prominent festival for Indians, Which shows the victory of lord Vishnu on the demon tripurasura.
The greatest importance is to light diyas at the Ganga Ghat on that day. But we can also lit diya at our home or in a temple .
For the last 2 years we go to Baba's temple with the whole family ...At where you will get to see Shiva temple as well as Radha Krishna temple. And the temple is spacious enough to lit the lots of diyas.
We just have to take permission from Panditji first....This time he gave permission to 2 families together to lit the diyas.
So, in the evening we went there with the family . We decide to lit 400 diyas. So first we put all diyas in a row and around the statue. Than we put baati in it and fill the diya with mustered oil.
Because we were 9 people and it hardly took 20 min to do this process.
And when the sunset was about to happen we all together lit the diyas. And trust me we feel so peace while doing this.
And the other family also lit 400 diyas....Lastly when I saw the temple, just wow came out of my mouth.... let's enjoy that view together ๐.
There was also a Tulsi plant and some old trees too.We also lit some diya (lamps) there. Which you can enjoy in those pictures.
We all sat there for some time and just prayed that please god enlighten everyone's life like this....Let there be positivity everywhere...And fill the whole world with happiness ๐.
And we all returned home with happy hearts.
Did you also celebrate this festival. Hope you enjoyed my celebration.
