I was sitting in the park watching people throw bread crumbs at the pigeons wishing that they would offer me some, but being a bag lady no one was going to do this. Then a nice-looking gentleman approached me, he was in uniform, I do admire a man in uniform.
He said they would feed me, also I would have a place to sleep and some money, all for eating the chips, I felt blessed to be chosen.
The last thing I remembered was being asked if I wanted to take part in a pilot study. All I had to do was eat some potato chips. This seemed harmless I would get food and I could use the money. I do not know the last time that I had something to eat, one day, two or was it three days ago, I could use the food. Maybe they will be chocolate-covered potato chips.
My belly felt fuller than it had ever felt and I was so happy to have a bed to lay on. But I do not remember how I got to the bed or eating the potato chips and why do I have a wet nose? I fell into the deepest sleep that I have ever had.
When I woke, I was at somebody's funeral, I felt bad for this person because the only people there were a priest and the man in uniform.
After they left, I sat by the grave and wondered who it was, I read the tombstone, it was me.
WOW -- that was a ride -- the twists and turns and mystery of it! Well done!
