Vibrant Ramadhan in the Midst of Crisis, Santri Action to Support Palestine

The month of Ramadan, a month full of blessings and forgiveness, has entered its seventh day. In various parts of the world, Muslims welcome him with great joy. In Indonesia, Islamic boarding school students have a unique tradition of welcoming Ramadhan, namely by parading and walking around while reading the salawat.

However, amidst this excitement, sadness still surrounds Palestine. Our brothers and sisters there are still fighting against the constant onslaught of bombs and weapons.

As a form of solidarity, Islamic students in various regions in Indonesia also held peaceful demonstrations to support Palestine. They carried Palestinian flags and prayed for peace in the country.

This action is proof that concern for Palestine does not only come from adults, but also from the younger generation. The students show that they have a sense of humanity and care for others, even though they themselves live with limitations.

In this holy month, let us together pray that Palestine will soon gain peace. May Ramadan bring blessings and forgiveness to all Muslims in the world, including our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
