Risang Waterfall- Terang Toi Kalai: Amazing Bangladesh
We reached Khagrachori early in the morning and make ourselves comfortable for the rest of the day. Our destination would be beautiful renowned “Risang Watefall” also known as “Terang Toi Kalai” . We have hired a Chander Gari (Zeep). If you want, you could go by CNG or motorbike. As it is close to Alutila Cave if you want to make plan you could plan for both for a day as both of them at Matiranga Upazala.
AluTila Cave would be on the way to Risang but it is better to see the waterfall first (if you start late) then you could come for the cave to explor. If you like to walk, a well gripped shoe would be recommended. If you love open sky, green hills and hiking this is the perfect place for you!
The beautiful waterfall just 2.1KM down from the highway and about 11km away from “Shapla Chattar” where we get off the bus. You need to walk or there are biker you could use for the ride until the stairs starts. I preferred to walk so that I could see the natural beauty although the downward slope is make me go running instead of walking! I had to be more careful as it would be very dangerous if I fall down to the brick made road.
The waterfall is beautiful and I had no idea I was about to see this beauty. I walked nearly 7000 feet down round the hills and I cannot describe the beauty with my words.
The pouring of water will definitely amazed you after the sweating walking; the height would be more than 30 feet but it is wide so it looks big and beautiful.
I wish I could be there during drizzling as while my roads ends and stairs starts the hill wall at my left with plants might looks even beautiful with raindrops on them!
People do slide in the slope of teh waterfall but it is dangerous if your head meet the hill wall so if you want to do it you better be prepared for any unwanted move or you best not to do it. Remember all the way near to the waterfall is risky to walk.
Thank you for your time!

Yes! Thank you for your comments @etiboy56
I wish to see a waterfall like this one. It's looks so beautiful. I'll love to spend my entire day here just watching the water fall and listening to the rhythm accompanied by the fall.
Where do you live? There are many waterfalls in Bangladesh you could visit and some of them is too close to highway you do not need to worry about walking/hiking!
I could guide you if you want!
