A historic episode in the world of anime
It's been a week since the last episode of the 5th season of Kimetsu no Yaiba was released and I think at this point I can already write with spoilers. Those who watch this anime surely already saw the season finale and in that sense I want to mention some events that can not go unnoticed, maybe for some of you may seem simple or maybe you already read the manga and knew what would happen, but we can not deny that it was a chapter that from beginning to end forced us to keep our attention on the screen as it was full of details worthy of a masterpiece.
Well, maybe I'm exaggerating with what I said above, but I had to watch the chapter twice and believe me it's worth it, that way I could notice details in the dialogues and animation that I've rarely seen in other anime. It is no secret to anyone that Kimetsu no Yaiba has the privilege of being animated by Ufotable who have tried to give everything for us to see something beautiful and it has been so since the first chapter, and well, that is something that everyone has noticed. I must clarify that I have not read the manga, so I completely ignore everything that is to come.
From second 1 the chapter starts to be epic, Muzan's walk towards the Ubuyashiki mansion made my hair stand on end as it is perfectly set both in animation and sound, each step generated expectations of what was to come. Muzan advanced imposing, free, calm and confident towards his greatest enemy who had been on his deathbed for a long time. Thus, without any resistance, Muzan met Ubuyashiki and there began a dialogue that was worth every word. That long-awaited meeting was an ecstasy of expectations.
Something that caught my attention from that conversation, was Muzan's indifference regarding the Ubuyashiki family curse, it is impressive how he cared little or nothing about every word of Kagaya, words that were full of feelings and that came from the heart, for one meant everything while for the other meant nothing. I also really liked Kagaya's argument about what eternity means, we all know that Muzan wants to be immortal and defeat the sun, to live forever, but for Kagaya feelings are what make us really immortal. Up to this point we can clearly differentiate the contrasts between the two characters.
Kagaya's plan was always aimed at meeting Muzan without any resistance, without bodyguards and without alarms, he always wanted to talk to him passively, to tell him everything he felt, but this plan was not at all peaceful, he even sacrificed his own family to try to strike a blow that would weaken Muzan. Seconds before Muzan tried to kill Kagaya, the latter triggered a terrible explosion that shattered the entire mansion, but it was not just fire, this explosion hid a series of tricks that caused great damage to Muzan.
While this was happening, the pillars and Tanjiro rushed desperately and worried towards the mansion, these scenes also made my hair stand on end because I had never seen some of the pillars lose their composure like that, that speaks of the great respect and admiration they have for Kagaya. The truth is that part of the plan was that Kagaya's death would boost the morale of the pillars who would obviously become stronger and more determined to kill Muzan, this surprised me a lot because it shows the strong resentment that the plan concealed.

So after the explosion, the interesting Tamayo enters the scene completely surprising Muzan, she tried several things to continue weakening him and then Himejima appears with a spectacular blow, but this only served to confirm that it is not enough to cut Muzan's head to kill him, the sunlight seems to be the only one capable of doing it. The pillars enter the scene and each one attacks him with all their strength, it was impressive to see them all together using their different breaths, it seemed that they could finish Muzan at that precise moment, but Muzan also had a plan and that is how the infinite castle arc practically begins. Everyone is moved to the castle, including the apprentices, so the battle will be massive.
The animation and soundtrack are a 10/10, every detail and every movement is taken care of to the maximum and I can only think that the trilogy of movies coming up will be world events, I can't wait to see those movies in the cinema. By the way, it kills my curiosity to know about Zenitsu and his change of attitude, I think it will be nice to find out.

I haven’t started watching this one. But your post even with spoilers made me curious about it. I will definitely try watching this if I get time.
If you haven't seen Kimetsu no Yaiba then you are missing out on a wonderful anime, I hope you get to see it soon. Thank you very much for your visit.
I couldn't agree less because that episode was literally on fire. The amount of dedication in making those scenes was really apparent because of how magnificent they turned out, and as for this...
How I longed to feel this way again..but anyway, the reason for his change of attitude is something I can't forget because it wasn't just———blah blah blah I don't want to spoil, but I'm really excited to see it getting animated!
Yes, it was a great chapter that served as a prelude to the final battles, I haven't read the manga and I'm very excited to see what's to come. Regarding Zenitsu, I'm thankful I don't know the spoilers hahaha. Cheers!
I have not watched this anime, but I have to recognize that it is one of the few current ones that really have a spectacular animation and a development of the story that has not been seen for a long time, I know this because I saw spoilers with some scenes and opinions and for a long time I did not find an anime of this genre with such a good plot. I also have to say as #teamvillains that I am haha that Muzan always called my attention and after several opinions I think he is a powerful antagonist-villain 👀
Look, Muzan is really one of the best villains I've seen, he's cold, indifferent and doesn't lose his composure, he's not impulsive either, I like that. I hope someday you can watch this anime, I'm sure you won't regret it.
esta temporada estuvo muy buena pero muy corta jeje, espero con ansias sus películas!
this season was very good but very short hehe, I look forward to your movies!
Although it was short, we saw some very interesting things, especially in the last chapter, for me it is one of the best I've seen.
Without a doubt, this episode was a true masterpiece of animation and storytelling. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it so much, and I agree that the next films in the saga are shaping up to be real events!
The movies to come will be completely crazy, I don't remember there being as much anticipation for an anime as there is today with Kimetsu no Yaiba, I'm one of those who hasn't read the manga, so everything to come will be unknown to me.
For those of us who are fans of the work (in this particular, the anime, since I have not seen the manga) this last chapter was crazy in many ways. And from Muzan's entrance to the explosion and the final meeting there is so much warmth and meaning for the plot.
To begin with, very little is said about the incredible determination that Ubuyashiki has to have done what he did, which is something that seems to have been convinced for a long time, And neither he nor his ancestors asked for bodyguards for the same reason. And for him to give himself up as bait, being the leader of the demon hunter organization, is a decision that would surely affect the future quite a bit. The decisions and plans he made from the beginning were as well measured as every word he said in his conversation with Muzan.
And regarding that, the idea or way of seeing "Eternity" as Ubuyashiki said is wonderful. And he was able to perfectly destroy the ideals and plans that Muzan had at the time, even more so by revealing that if he died all the demons that exist thanks to him would also cease to exist. So that shows that eternity is worthless if the body dies and you are not remembered.
Now, the animation is amazing and I can say with determination that Ufotable is one of the best studios that currently exist. I can even admit that it is better than other studios like MAPPA or CloverWorks. And that can be seen with the entrance of Muzan, the incredible explosion, the way in which Muzan regenerates from the bones, the final battle and the entrance of the pillars and other hunters to the infinite castle. I haven't seen such quality animation in my life, honestly.
I hope that, with what we already saw in this last chapter, the films that come out of the final arc will be just as impressive. And I can say that, if Ufotable does it right once again, every battle we will see in these movies will completely break the internet and make history like never before.
I was stunned by Ubuyashiki's determination, the guy had always had everything in mind, I think he even knew what Muzan was going to tell him when he met him. It's one of those encounters between two characters that force you to keep your attention and not miss a second of what they are talking about.
And well, I confess that the meaning of "eternity" that Ubuyashiki gave to Muzan is beautiful, but for a guy like Muzan that means nothing, so there we could see the big difference between the two.
The animation on the other hand, will continue to break the internet, it's hard to see fights and techniques with the level of detail we see in Kimetsu, I hope Ufotable stays the way it is.
Like you, I enjoyed this season from start to finish and you're not exaggerating when you say it's worth watching more than once, it's simply the best series of all time. (If you dare to read my post, I don't give spoilers for what's to come, just for this season itself), Cheers! 💕
