At the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, world leader called for the protection of nature for human survival and there was consensus on many important issues.
The negative effects of climate change are currently occurring rapidly and urgent action is needed globally. How to deal with climate change and how to promote the recovery of the global economy is the most important issue facing us today.
It is worth mentioning here that important statements have been made by the parties in support of green development and it has been stated that the transformation and upgrading of energy resources and industrial infrastructure should be done using scientific and technological innovations. New ways must be explored to harmonize material development and nature conservation.
In this regard, China, who is a major player on climate change, has called for maintaining a multilateral consensus. Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed that China is on the path to environmental priorities, green and low-carbon development. China expects all parties to step up their efforts, work together to address the challenges of climate change and work together to protect the common planet of mankind.
The current situation calls for the global community to adopt a comprehensive and balanced policy under practical measures to address the challenges of climate change and energy, the full and effective implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement. The need is felt more and more today.
In this regard, developed countries should not only take practical steps themselves but also provide assistance to improve the situation in developing countries. The key is that the world can respond more effectively to climate change. Dealing with climate change is undoubtedly a serious international challenge that requires global action. The key to tackling climate change lies in "solid action". Harmonious coexistence, green and sustainable development are essential for the survival of future generations. It is good that China has set regular targets for tackling climate change.
To address the serious challenge of climate change today, it is imperative that each country move forward hand in hand to live up to its promises and move towards green, low-carbon and sustainable development, otherwise, mankind can suffer terrible consequences.
