Global consensus on climate change

At the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, world leader called for the protection of nature for human survival and there was consensus on many important issues.

The negative effects of climate change are currently occurring rapidly and urgent action is needed globally. How to deal with climate change and how to promote the recovery of the global economy is the most important issue facing us today.

In this regard, China, who is a major player on climate change, has called for maintaining a multilateral consensus. Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed that China is on the path to environmental priorities, green and low-carbon development. China expects all parties to step up their efforts, work together to address the challenges of climate change and work together to protect the common planet of mankind.

The current situation calls for the global community to adopt a comprehensive and balanced policy under practical measures to address the challenges of climate change and energy, the full and effective implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement.
